Majkl shows us in this video how to make Szechuan beef, a very tasty dish from China and very simple to prepare.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
1kg beef (I use rump steak)
2 tablespoons of Chinese rice wine
2 tablespoons of Chinese dark soya sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 egg
1 tablespoon of ginger
4 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of starch
50ml of water
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
1 sweet bell pepper
6 hot chilli peppers (you can add od use less depending on how spicy you like your food)
2 green onions
1 tablespoon of Szechuan peppers
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
