Thanks - as someone said this was more of a product feature video than an independent review but still very helpful, much appreciated.

I have the pted and it’s really great for beginners or those attempting to test out how they feel about tabletop drum kits. However, it’s lacks one important thing. Sensitivity and responsiveness for the pads. Now that I feel more confident as a drummer, it’s noticeable enough to where I want to upgrade. Again, it’s a great price, great starting off, lightweight, plug n’ play style, and plenty of sounds to keep you interested as well as programmable pads.

I recently bought a First Act Digital Drum Pad. Model M120 It’s good for a beginner like myself. Bought it new still in the box from a thrift store.

Very helpful! I Haven't had a drum set in over 20 years and opted to get the Yamaha DD75 as I want to play but don't have room for a full kit. Not gonna lie, I'm gonna need to practice with it before I can jump back into home recording, but so far I love what it does.

I would now add the new Pyle PTED08 and the Lekato electronic drum set to this list.

Can it be played with bare hands without switching on hand percussion mode? I mean can I play ANY tutorial song WITHOUT sticks?

Hi I am looking for my 20 year old who thinks she wants to get into drumming. DD75 is one I was thinking but I keep getting confused. How is the sound without an amplifier? How about foot petals there are alot of complaints on those. Thanks!

Thanks for this! We picked up a CompactKit 7 and love it, especially for the price. Does anyone know if the Roland KT-9 is a compatible replacement for the cheap foot switch that comes with the unit? 3 things we don't like: 1) the "pedals" double trigger often 2) you can't tune the pitch of the drum voices up/down (making most of the kick drum sounds unusable as they are). 3) the cymbal pads have plastic that goes up quite high; it can be tough not to hit the plastic part Other than that, it's super fun and addicting, and small enough to fit in tight spaces.

If u got the PTED06 model, you can change pitch, as well as position an reverb off or on....

@@passtheparcel2007 damn! I wish I knew that before I purchased the Alesis version. I assumed the firmware would be the same across all these Alesis/Pyle Pro/Donner/etc units that are supposedly coming from the same factory in China. Oh well, still good to know, thanks

Yes it can but it’s not the best response in my opinion

This video was mislabeled. It's labeled as "best" as if there were reviews but there's not a review on anything. This is merely talking about features not unlike a catalog.

Yep, you got me. Even this is kinda full time though. As I grow the channel I hope to be able to do better. I had to start somewhere though! Thanks for the feedback.

In addition ,whether or not the instrument was a MIDI capable was not even mentioned. Any serious key board player thinking about such an instrument would want to know that.@@gearmusictech

Misleading video showing Yamaha with 3rd party pedals accessories and not the crappy included ones. What is the point of making a tech video if it is not technically accurate!
