1:14 already wrong. If you go fullscreen this wipe you lose like 10-15% FPS compared to borderless bcs of a bug that's in game rn. 1:30 doesn't matter what kind of gpu do you have, what matters is amount of VRAM you got

Thanks for pointing out the bug, I did not know about that. MOST Gamers on Tarkov now are using a 8 GB Vram card (or you're crazy and I respect it). So Medium would be a safe bet, obviously can determine on the rest of the system too. Medium just worked well on my 8 gb 3050, and now on my 8 gb 4060 ti.

GPU VRAM doesn't define the capabilities of the GPU. It doesn't matter if it has 16GBs of VRAM if the games you play don't even reach 12GBs. What matters is the the raw performance of the GPU itself. For example: the 3060 has 12GBs of VRAM but does not compete anywhere close to the 4070 Super who also has 12GBs of VRAM

Jesus I had no idea about this one. Just gained 15 fps going to from fullscreen to borderless on customs. Legend!

Note about PostFX; Clarity, Luma Sharpen and especially Adaptive sharpen can also affect performance on GPU boud systems.

TL;DR: Enable potato mode. I don't know how you can see anything below 1440p. Even in 4K, it can be difficult to spot distant enemies, and if you have iron sight quests, good luck. Tarkov doesn't really care about your GPU as much as it does your CPU. Also, aniostropic filtering should always be at 16x on any modern hardware; it has virtually no performance impact, but really makes a difference on the accuracy textures viewed at an angle are drawn. Having it all the way down will make your textures, even high quality textures, look like smeared ass cheese. LoD and view distance does make a noticeable impact, as do shadows. I would recommend enabling the "Streets of Tarkov textures" and running textures at medium. Gets good performance on a RTX 3080. Also, remember DLSS renders the game natively at a resolution quite a bit lower than the one you picked, then uses A.I. to predict what detail SHOULD be there when it upscales. It's not really meant to run at low resolutions like 1080p, but rather 4K, and 1440p, though you start noticing issues at 1440p. Also keep in mind that if your display is physically incapable of running more than 60hz, going above 60 fps isn't doing you any favors, as your display is capped at 60.

Assuming the 3050 ti is in a laptop, that could be partially the reason as PC's outmatch them in many ways. I assume you only have 16 gb of RAM and that's a big thing for Tarkov too, mine uses damn near 12-16 GB alone when playing. I'd recommend turning off any background apps open and if it continues, probably switch the graphics setting down to low.

Depending on the specs of your PC it could, on most maps it increased my gps by atleast 1.5-2x, haven’t tried out Streets with it though.

When the video was recorded I had: Ryzen 7 5800X3D NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (motherboard) 4x32GB Corsair 3600 DDR4 Storage 1TB HDD 1TB M.2 SSD Since recording I bought a 4060 ti (yesterday) and it has boosted my fps basically hitting the 144 fps limit set on all maps (except Streets + Snoreline).

I have very similar specs to you, it boosted FPS on all maps by 1.5-2x on each map. Any background apps running that are interfering with your game? Did these settings for all my buddies and they had no problems.

@ the only thing I have open when I play tarkov is tarkov and discord call, I’m stuck at like 45 fps

make sure Tarkov isn't being bottlenecked, drivers up to date, if you have your settings EXACTLY like mine, especially with your PC Specs, you should be getting well above 60. Maybe put the graphics on low and make sure you're on Borderless.
