It's in the Veysonnaz special stage, but this stage is driven each year in a sligthly different way. The Jump was just done in 2006 and 2007.

Wow some crazy big jumps right there. I'm not a huge rally fan but I always look forward to the rallye du Valais. Now I can even watch the top driver on the telly, and after that all the footage from MPZ/Finger.

yes i noticed that, you got to fly off the jump with neutral power as the tyres leave the ground and land with neutral power as well, what I mean by netrual power is not accelerating and not slowing down, coasting basically. As important steer the car straight for the landing spot before you leave the ground otherwise if you are turning as you leave the ground the car will rotate mid air and can make you loose control when you touch down especially when you land one wheel before the others.

Hey MPZ - another wicked video again! Just a thought; if you know/are/control the cameraman who records the second camera shot (one of them landing) I think that the shot could've been better (ie; not quite so close up) if he stood slightly further away. Just a few of the shots felt a little too close up, so the car was in the majority of the shot, so it was difficult to see the true landing (how close to the sides) etc. But that's just my own personal thoughts :)

actually you have to balance it. Since the cars here are front engine and most of them front heavy the nose dips down if you jump neutrally like you say. Also has to do with the kind of jump etc But most should have accelerated hard shortly before and througout the jump, in fact until after they landet, since FWD cars stabilise under acceleration.

One thing bugs me. Why most of them are breaking ON the jump landing hard on the nose? Just a little tap on the gas on jump would be enough to land straight. 1:55 does it pretty well. 2:50 also nice job.

Yeah. You break before, then the moment you are about to jump just tap the gas to push weight of the car to the back.

+Jordan Bell I expect them to have at least 2 in primary school physics :D At 0:15 there is a guy in EVO doing the jump on brakes... And then at 0:25 a guy in a compact does the jump perfectly. (too fast, but without acceleration he would flip) ACTUALLY! A lot of those in compact cars are doing the jump very well. A bit fast, but with a proper technic, while guys in EVOs are going through on brakes XD I saw 2 EVOs and 1 Integra, all of them braked. Then there is a Subbie with a slight tap on gas. Not even close to make a difference.

Interesting how only one of those drivers opens the throttle during the jump (blue clio). Some of them even brake, no wonder they all hit the ground hard with their front.
