pro tip: use a swanna. it’s really good as it can dish out STAB surf and air slash + it can learn surf and fly. you won’t have to use a simipour and it frees up a slot for something like haxorus or gothitelle/reuniclus.

building B/W team is very tricky because you got not so many option for every starter you pick. it was quite frustrating but really fun at the same time because you have to experiment which one is the best for the team even until the late stage of the game. B2/W2 is more straightforward because a lot of great option are added.

I just replayed through Pokémon White and this was an awesome surprise to see after defeating Ghetsis! My team for that run through was INCREDIBLY similar to this which is both weird and cool. My team (and my favourite team of all time so far was): Emboar Simipour (first time using a monkey and was not disappointed) Krookodile Emolga (so much fun in the end) Cincinno (also lots of fun but not the strongest) Ferrothorn (was sawsbuck but I found a shiny ferroseed)

You know, if you want some mor material, you can always do Monotype teams for Sword and Shield. There's ton of variety in those games, even without the DLC, that you can find every Pokémon type before the first gym. With some careful use of Wishing Pieces and luck you can find stuff like Corsola or Snom early even!

You don’t actually need to wait at level 44 for eelektrik to learn Thunderbolt because when you get surf you can go to nuvema town and on the first route you surf over to the island to find a water route and if you see a kinda big building you can find the tm for thunderbolt in the grass. Nothing will ever compare to the pain of leveling a cofagrigus till it’s able to learn some effective kill moves

Try finding TYNAMO in charge cave (Rare encounter), and leveling it up to lvl 39 till it evolves into elektrik. Next you evolve it again with a thunderstone into elektross. Then you level up Elektross to lvl 44 to learn thunderbolt all before you face Skyla. Only problem? Elektross doesn't learn Thunderbolt. You have to level up Elektrik to level 44 to learn thunderbolt BEFORE you evolve it with a thunderstone. Now you're back to leveling up tynamo for the SECOND time. Mind you, Magikarp and Feebass have total base stats of 200. Tynamo isn't that much better with a total of 275.

a word of advice from me- I recommend using Leavanny instead of Amoonguss bescause Leavanny is a very awesome sweeper and versatile mon and Amoonguss is just a fat staller (sorry Amoonguss fans) also, I would use Sigilyph in black/white 2 instead of 1 and use Archeops( I know it has defeatist and what is it but its still a good pokemon if you learn how to use it properly) it's awesome powerful mon! another reason for doing so is that good flying types aren't that common in unova (if we count only pokemon introduced in gen 5)

He was so confident, I didn't check any facts. I took his word for everything. Turns out, Elektross can't learn thunderbolt. You have to level up Elektrik BEFORE you evolve it with the thunderstone. Now I'm having to grind TYNAMO for a second time. T^T

The most important pokemon for b/w 1 playthrough is imo Haxorus. Axew is found at lv 30 something in mistralton cave. And before u reach the 8th dragon gym, u need to have fraxure at lvl 38. Then use eviolite and dragon dance once, and basically it sweeps the whole gym. Cuz as u sweep all the trainers, ur fraxure will be lv 40-46. Even without lucky egg, fraxure can level upto 48 if ur good at setting up dragon dance. And then Haxorus, gets swords dance after evolving. So, set up dragon dance once and swords dance and basically u sweep the whole elite four, N and ghetsis. Haxorus final moveset: Dragon dance Swords dance Dragon claw Brick break

​@@cheeseveal Dragon dance is required to outspeed ghetsis's hydriegon. Otherwise, Hydriegon one shots every pokemon u have. Meanwhile, setting up swords dance is a safe option cuz after one dragon dance haxorus outspeeds every pokemon in the game with decent lvl. 140 base attack is great. 2 dragon dances is also great but swords dance is more safer and guarantees one shot on any pokemon. In gen 5 a lot of unova pokemon have def stats. That's why during gen 5 competitive, players used more swords dance than dragon dance. It's way safer to ensure one shot with swords dance.

@@cheeseveal Trust me, one dragon dance doesn't KO ghetsis hydreigon. I did a replay recently outta 100 times i played this game lmao. And if ur trying for 2 dragon dances, why not swords dance lmfao. Why tf would someone increase their speed more cuz u outspeed anyone with one stage increase of speed. The whole game to be completed strives around the fact that ghetsis hydreigon needs to be KO'd one shot. i tried with a lvl 53 Haxorus. All of ghetsis pokemon have 31 IVs and 255 EVs including Hydriegon. Unless u have a perfect set of EVs and IVs for haxorus, u might one shot hydreigon. But normally players don't. So, it's more safe to NOT rely on one dragon dance and set up a swords dance after dragon dance when cofagragus is in the battle. Have Haxorus hold a pecha berry cuz Cofagragus only uses stalling moves like Protect and Toxic. If Hydreigon, survives ur one 'Dragon dance' strategy lmao, then it will one shot ur entire team unless u grind for 55 lvl for ur pokemon which is boring af.

I just beat this again. Really like going back to this one after a while. Inova has such unique and fun Pokemon in my opinion. My team was Samurott, Reuniclus,Archeops,Elektross,Darmanitan, and Mienshao. My first time using several of these Pokemon, was a blast.

Imo excadrill is better than krookadile One as a drilbur, it get hone claws at level 22, rock slide at 29 (this is elesa max level) dig at 19, earthquake at 33. It’s final set would be Metal claw (x scissor is also great) Earthquake Rock slide Hone claws It can do well against Elesa (whole team) Clay (excadrill) Skyla (whole team) Brycen (whole team) Not super effective for the dragons but does resist Resists most of the leugue And good against most of N Edit: resists most of ghestis

I ended up with this Emboar , Krookodile,Carracosta,Ferrothorn,Gothitelle and Dieno which I collected a majority of the rare candies obtained in the game to jump start him to Hydreigon
