Please help! Would you be able to either make or direct me to a video that goes over how to actually build teams? I’m still learning like the ABB vs AAB vs ABC and all that. Not sure which is better , the mindset behind it when building a team or how the strategy differs I guess. The role of the lead, safe swap, closer and what makes a good pokemon for those roles specifically. Things like that. I think it’s genuinely fascinating that you can build teams like you do with all of the thinking that goes into it. I want to learn how to do that though so I’m not reliant on what other people post for teams but I can make my own. Currently I basically just use PvPoke and look to see the individual lead, closer, switch, etc. Then throw them in the team builder and I cannot get better than like C-C-B-B for team grading 😅 I’ve hit 2500 elo based off trying to get good at the battling side of things and because I’d used a master league team I found that I could run with last season. Now I’m not doing too well at all and I just want to learn!

I have a team that’s dragonite,swampert and togekiss and I normally win 4/5 battles so what I do is I start with togekiss and get a charge move but don’t use it then I switch to swampert or dragonite whatever is more effective and then get there shields gone and wait for a full health Pokémon from then and I use the togekiss charged move so it normally kills them or takes half health because I use the air move and for swampert I use muddy water and the mud one idk the name and then the best moves for dragonite
