This is actually know as the Konami Code. It did work for and is well known for Contra, but was first used in Gradius. It also worked for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and quite a few other games. It worked on various games consoles, NES included and it also worked on some arcade games too. Wow, weird that I don't have a retro gaming channel.

Cheat code is called the Konami command. It is featured in a lot of games by Konami. In Contra for instance it gives you extra lives. There is actually a lot of websites you can input the Konami code while on the main page to unlock 'secrets' / easter eggs.

Not sure the white one would hit the retro look as good as the black one. I think I am slightly younger than you but I remember a long time ago when I was a child we had a small but very deep monochrome cathodic television. We had no remote and had to walk to the TV to change channel or volume. It looked horrible but we were so proud just to have a TV back then ^^ I feel so old right now and I am just 36 ^^

Yeah, I can see your point. But like you said the screen and the nostalgia is worth every penny for me 😉. I use manual sometimes. Mostly autofocus though. That’s one of the reason I like Canon so much. Their autofocus is amazing! 👍🏻

I've been testing AF on the A7III and tried both the manual and AF when talking into the lens. With AF-C it's quite fine but if I wave with my hands a bit longer, the focus will go at them. SO, fast movements and then down with the hands :-) Was just curious. Thanks.
