Pro tip: buy a pool noodle from Target for like, $2, at the beginning of your trip to use in the lazy river! And you can always give it to a family/kids in the pool area at the end of the trip if you don't want to just throw it out. We usually do that when we stay at Cabana Bay!

nope Orlando has all the hotels just go to econo lodge it's clean and great and 72 bucks instead of 155. if you want the extra hour in the morning then fine but??? If you are hell bent on staying at a Universal owned Hotel then go with dockside or Beachside. They are much closer to 155 than a Best Western but still less than Cabana Bay and you get the early entry with them

Cabana Bay pro tip: Best food in the resort is in Galaxy Bowl. The wings and ribeye sandwich are particular favorites. Also, there's another fire pit above the Hideaway bar which tends to be more "adult friendly."

We stayed there for a week in 2018 and had the best time. I highly recommend this hotel and the water park. We even went bowling one night in the hotel's retro alley and had a great family time. The hideaway bar at night lights up and has a great vibe.

I love this resort! We stayed there in 2015 for 10 days and really enjoyed the bayliner diner! Their cinnamon roll at the time (I hope they haven't changed it) was the most amazing one that I ever had. Its a stuffed roll that oozes icing, oh so good. For eats though, we went to "Agave Azul" up the road, its a small and local place that does great Mexican food. We took an order of vegetarian fajitas back to our room and reheated it in the microwaves that are provided in the diner. I bought an order of scrambled eggs and we had a cheap breakfast taco lunch for a few days!

My family's favorite hotel. We stay at Royal Pacific when we can for the express passes, but stay at Cabana for the fun atmosphere when we can't. We love the Bayliner Diner for the options especially after a day at the parks, and Starbucks for before the parks.

We were last in Orlando during the Holidays and New Years 2019-20…Even though we were renting a 4 bedroom villa nearby, we rented a room the second night of our trip at the Royal Pacific, which was the cheapest of the three deluxe hotels at $515/ night…We never actually USED THE ROOM, but we got FOUR TWO-DAY UNIVERSAL EXPRESS passes included for free-each person would’ve been $189 per day ($378 for each 2-day pass) had I paid for that…So we got OVER $1500 worth of Universal Express for the price of a $515 hotel room We DIDNT SLEEP IN (or, to look at it another way, we got each $189 Express pass for about $64!)!!…A MARVELOUS DEAL!

I grew up early 70's watching old movies like The Bellboy with Jerry Lewis and with Cabana Bay it made me reminisce about that time. Our family had a great time and always plan to return. I wish there were more hotels like this because just going to the resort is a get away in itself. And a slight mention on the bathroom they are the best arranged in the suites withe 3 seperate areas.

So right best resort on property. The pool you went in also plays music underwater. Played bowling and ate at the Bowling Alley there. They had a hot dog on top of a hamburger, wanted to get but was removed off the menu when we got there. Ever since having it when they had it at Sci fi dine in at Studios was hooked.

Yes chicken tenders rock one of the reasons I bought an air fryer 😂 now onto this resort absolutely loving the googie architecture shapes blended seamlessly with the mid century modern to create this hotel to give guests this experience of the mid 50’s- 70’s zest and vo5 are still a thing 😂😂 I’d feel totally at home there that’s for sure.
