I really don't think there will ever be a better charakter where all of the things you said just fit perfectly like here. Also the whole whole fight, not only gyutaro, yes there is plot armor but seriously "story" aside, you can't make a fight more epic than that and paired with these visuals its just overall the best Anime ever made me feel. There is lots of anime that have better story but nothing can keep me on the edge of my seat like this fight. I liked season 3 for the story but compared to that it feels like its lacking. I hope season 4 will be as hype as this!

yeah it's called an altered state of consciousness, it can happen in real life and people who can do this will act coherent in this state, so it's different from sleep walking and is usually triggered by trauma. It's basically what happens when a person is placed under hypnosis although some people are able to self-induce this state through meditation

I don't think Ufotable has worked on any other project since they picked up demon slayer in 2019, except for 1-2 movie adaptations of certain anime. Plus, even their staff is all talented and are treated well and given proper rest and time unlike a certain studio out there.

From my pov, animation seems pretty standard to contemporary japanese mecha series like Macross (Macross Frontier, Macross II, Macross Zero, Macross Plus), Vandread, Gundam, Appleseed, etc (there's so many I can't recall on top of my head right now). IMO, they're just applying classic mecha dogfight animation to normal swordsman fights now. But confined to just non-Mecha anime, it may be among the best

God man. When this episode aired my friends and i were losing our absolute shit. When Uzui blocked Gyuutaro's attack my friends and i went ballistic. My buddy's girlfriend literally screamed, another friend and i both yelled "LETS FUCKIN GOOOOOO!!!" at the same time. During that whole fight our whole group was literally hyped tf up. We were watching open mouthed on the edges of our seats. Pretty sure i forgot to breath, you'd think i hadn't read the manga with the way i was so excited. This episode went so crazy. And then a few months later, It was awesome when they screened this episode and the season finale (and season 3 ep 1) in theaters. Seeing this on a regular tv and then a movie theater screen with that kind of crazy surround sound was incredible. Also as a manga reader Gyuutaro's suicide bomb completely caught me off guard; In the manga it looked like it only destroyed a 3 or 3 houses, so to see the explosion obliterate a whole city block was nuts. Like during the credits my friends and i just sat there dumbfounded at what we'd just seen, so mad that we had to wait another week for the next episode lol. Great reactions from you as always!

I love Gyutaros va performance in this, so menacing. The shot of Gyutaro walking out of the fire gave me chills when I first saw it. Gyutaro is strong but he’s upper 6 right now for a reason. That’s said Muzan and a few of the uppers respect him for his skill and potential, so had he lived he may have gotten higher in the ranks.
