I was just there for a couple weeks at our summer home. Our summer home was built last summer. My wife retires in about a month and will be spending all summer up there. Make sure you stop at the peach barn brewery and tell me hi. I’m in their quite often.

Very helpful info! I've been to DC countless times, but usually in the fall. We've camping at Peninsula State Park, then moving over to the quiet side in Bailey's Harbor. Looking forward to summer vibes and water activities!

Door County is one of the few places in the USA where one can experience a sunrise, over water, in the morning and drive a few miles west and experience a sundown, over water..a few hours later. Both Lake Michigan and Green Bay are so wide, the other sides are over the horizon...or nearly over the horizon in the case of Green Bay.

Headed our way to Door County next week in our 23FB, hubby already talking a 25! We have reservations for the Post Office Fish Bowl. We are currently in Mammoth Cave NP, heading tomorrow to Indiana Dunes NP, then onto Mackinaw City doing Mackinaw City at Mill Creek Campground then camping at Bailey Harbor! Door County has been on our list for awhile now. Thanks for perfect timing for video!

We did most of what y’all did when we were there, but it was in the fall and so cold. We didn’t get to do the fish boil experience cause it was out of season. We went to Al’s Swedish Restaurant, but by this time of year, they just have a couple metal sheep in the roof. 😂. But everything else, we did get a chance to do. Oh, we didn’t kayak or do a boat tour either.

Where did you start the wineries tour on the trolley? Did you need reservations?

We actually didn't use the trolley, just happened to see it parked outside one of the wineries. I just checked on doorcountytrolley.com and they have a wide variety of tours.

There is no tide in Wisconsin

Actually, according to google, there is a tide change in Wisconsin 2 times per day though most do not know or see it. I'm sure my confusion in the video was just having grown up on the Hudson river and living by the Gulf of Mexico water changes always seem to cause my choice of words to say tides or tide changes. Thanks for the correction. we cant edit it out of the video but when we return we will take note and correct the error.
