Wow... I remember pigeon island when there were no new structures on it... (late 60s)... Breaks my heart to see all that development... I went to a camp on one of those beaches called "Bahamas Sailing Camp..." It was beautiful !

Pigeon Point has had lots of development in the area over the years. There are two resorts near the island. Sandals Grande and The Landings Resort. Pigeon Point is still beautiful, pristine and protected though.

We were the ONLY entity on any of that gorgeous beach... Again , breaks my heart to see it all "MIAMI-IZED.." But I guess it's good for their economy :( .
