Just got back from Sicily last week after spending two weeks on the east coast. Siracusa and Ortiga are great. Must see if you go to Sicily, also Modica for chocolate.

Yes sure Modica and Ragusa are beautiful towns as well. Nice to hear that you enjoyed so much. Italy always beautiful place for vacation

I am planning an itinerary for la Sicilia. This is what I have so far… Palermo (3), Cefalu (5), Ortigia (2), Taormina (3), and Catania (3). Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

I see that you you planned it for 16 days and you have enough time for relaxing vacation. I recommend you Catania(2), Syracuse(2), Palermo(2), Cefalu(2), Taormina(2), Road trip Castellammare Del Golfo/Scopello,/San Vito Lo Capo(2), Trapani( 2 days to visit Trapani, Erice, Salt Lakes area), Modica(1) Ragusa(1). Because Cefalu can be boring for 5 days. There is only historical town and beach. Not much to do. I prefer to visit as much as different beautiful places rather than same place long time.
