It is full with a wonderful atmosphere, wonderful cultural things to see and do. Wonderful promenade as Thessaloniki is at the sea, and you have the mount Olympus rising 3000 meters straight out of the sea in front of you on the horizon. - Not even 15 minutes away you can be at *lake Koronia* which at the perfect time can be full with tens of thousands of *flamingo's.* - You can be within 1 hour in *Halkidiki with the most gorgeous crystal clear waters* you can find anywhere. - You can be in *hikers paradise* with 1 hour drive to the *mount Olympus* which you can do multiple days of hiking. The mountain has extremely diverse biodiversity and has *1700 species of plants* which is more than some countries as a whole! - You can be at *river delta's like Delta Aksiou or Delta Aliakmona* within 30 minutes. - You can be at *wonderful waterfall regions like Edessa* within 1 hour of driving - You can be at the wonderful *Pozar natural hotsprings* within 1.5h of driving - You can be at 1 of the 2 *most important birding places* in all of Europe by going to *lake Kerkini,* full with hundreds of species of birds among which the Pelicans.
