I read some of the comments and you touch briefly on san Ysidro crossing. Since I'm from cali that's where I'll be crossing and I'd like some guidance. Is it better to drive or walk across? And what is the protocol for both? I don't really look Latin and I definitely sound American but I'm still worried of having issues when crossing without a passport.
