@@jamesnjacqdriftin my go to sashimi dipping sauce is light soy. dark brown sugar and wasabi paste mixed to taste, The Japanese rate Golden Trevally very highly as a raw fish, Pan fries well also!

That cod is a black spot estuary cod, known as a poor man's coral trout, pretty good eating 👌

Great fishing, not always easy to fish a new area successfully. I’ve been to Cape Keraudren and launched from a beach, where did you guys launch from ?

There’s a big concrete slab ramp in one of the southern campsites. Only in the water for about half the tide though so bigger boats struggled!

@@jamesnjacqdriftin my mistake I was thinking of middle lagoon. that ramp is next to the island, you can also launch from the creek, as you say very tidal.
