Hiya, Tim! There have been times when I have seen your imagination / vision at work and it's nothing short of brilliant! Had I not seen what you've done with this composition, I would never even THINK of breaking apart a scene like this. Having seen it, now I can play the same game. Thanks for the new vision. You're the best!

I agree with most of the comments that the painting is not very much like the photo. But I thought that was the purpose of this demo! Everybody has some favorite photos but we are at a loss as to how to use them and get more enjoyment out of it. Will you consider having a demo/class on just how to create a scene that looks though a bit different though giving the same tone as the original? Thanks.

I think you got the whole point of the video. What if you had one photo, and someone said you had to make 10 different paintings out of that photo. So how can you take different elements of it and use it to make a painting.

Hi Tim This is a drastic change from the photo. I'm also a bit disturbed by the leaning buildings. Regards Andrew

Thank you Andrew. I was really trying to take a photo (or part of a photo) to repurpose it and change things to create a composition.

HI Tim, thanks for the video. I am a bit confused though. The picture you painted is not the one in the photo. It looks like what you painted was from a totally different point of view. Maybe you used a photo taken from the actual bridge, much more to the left compared to this one? However you didn't talk about that. I don't know that I could paint from a photo and invent a different scene. Could you talk a little about that. thanks.

Thanks for watching Joe. The point of the video and using photos, was not for me to copy the photo, but use it as inspiration. As I think I said in the video, I chose just one part of it and imagined the wall and foreground for my composition. Thanks again Joe.

Hi sir..I have a question. Can you do one video where you can show how to invent a source of light in a full photo ? Sometimes the photographs do not have proper light and shadow. In that case how to create a light source and create our own composition?

Thanks and that is a very good idea for a future video

so it's normal for a mop brush to loose hair..... i though i got a defective brush... but again, i got it for free... also, i dont have neutral tint, but i have a chromatic black that i self mix from Winsor Yellow, Quinacridone Red and Phthalo Blue Red Shade.

Sounds good to me. In my opinion, all the mop brushes I have had, loose some hairs or the point is worn down over time
