I set aside about $50 every pay until i had saved up $1500 approx (i wanted to save double the cost and to make sure i really wanted it) so i had the $780 i needed for my wallet :) ive started an insta for my budget journey (@mymoneyjourney_) if you have any questions, feel free to reach out, i also have a picture of my wallet :)

I have the YSL in black with black hardware. I’ve had it for about 4 months and this video is how I learned there was a center compartment. I love how well it fits in small bags and pockets. It’s still nice and stiff which makes me feel like my cards are very secure in it.

Ever since I first saw your Chanel emerald green card holder I've been obsessed. It brings me so much joy when I see it and I've looked everywhere for it to no avail, sadly. It's a shame that Chanel doesn't repeat colors although I understand why. Anyway, I hope you show it off more so I can live vicariously through you! This was very enjoyable and a good way to escape the news at the moment. Some more collection/comparison videos would be really fun while we are all grounded. My favourite type of card holder is the flat one, like your YSL. They fit a lot of cards and don’t take up a lot of room. Space is always at a premium in my bags. That is why I don’t like the flap front ones. They are very bulky and if I am going to take up that much real estate in my bags I won’t do it with a card holder, I prefer to use a proper mini wallet instead.

Hi Mel! It's such a lovely collection! I love SLGs! I was surprised but not so surprised on the ranking after hearing your explanation, totally get your point. I have a Chanel wallet in the so black edition, and the coating just chipped away overtime, which made me sad in a way as it turned out not look as pretty as it was☹️ Anyway, I never purchase a flap style cardholder before (as I thought it was not as practical without multiple compartments) but I would love to try them out after watching this review!
