Billy Joe it still utilized the factory ECU I just ordered mine through EURO-CODE which works with IROZ. These are 2 entirely different systems one is a ECU and one is a system that detects how torque is divided , with the OEM unit you can’t adjust the torque spilt , this controller bypasses that issue by replacing the factory unit with the Syvecs controller. This has nothing to do with the ECU the factory ECU is responsible for numerous things. To answer your question you don’t need a Syvecs ECU to run a Syvecs Halidex controller. You also don’t need a tune to install this just like Adam said in his video it’s plug and play that’s it. Not everybody is going to able to spend 5 or 6 grand on a ECU like Syvecs not that it would be nice lol hope that answers your question , any other questions feel free to ask I have the same platform except it’s a 2019 TTRS stage 2 Unitronics E85

A haldex unit can not put more than 50% of the power to the rears. As much as the unit can be turned up to 100, you still aren't putting more than 50% of the total torque to the rear tires. Maybe down the road they will figure it out, but for now I don't believe that is possible.

@VancityAudi4 жыл бұрын
First things first, get yourself a proper set of tires. PS4S are great all around tires but they aren't meant for drag racing or achieving solid launch times. If you want to by-pass the proper tires for launching a car effectively, the Syvecs haldex controller does one hell of a good job sending power to the rears to get a much more effective launch.

Yes, I am aware of that controller. It doesn't do what the Syvecs controller does. This is an inferior version that people thought worked before Syvecs released theirs. Now there is no point in spending your money on this when the Syvecs unit exists.

As I state in the video you can feel the tension on the device build at the stock position and at around the 80-90% position

No magic thinking controller will transform a haldex into a torsen or crown gear AWD.

Don't think anyone said it would, lol.

Looks like at 60% send more to the rear than at 100%

So now, turn it all the way down and we can do a rolling burnout. cool
@VancityAudi4 жыл бұрын
If you've got the power and no rear diff, I'm sure you'll do a one tire fire like I did.

Um........ so you can do rear wheel power only????? Why not do a Rear wheel burnout. Then race in RWD bias... or even...... Do a front wheel PEEL then roll up into the water and do a Rear Wheel REAL burn out . Then roll up to the tree, and select 33/77 RWD bias and get the best times ever... Hope u like all the Easter eggs and jokes But I'm serious. Also PATENT PENDING
@fepethepenguin82874 жыл бұрын
Also... since u luv Drag racing... why not weld ur back diff... LOL or put in a nice LSD also Do LSD
@VancityAudi4 жыл бұрын
The haldex unit in these cars will always be FWD biased. You can not put more than 50% of the power to the rears. So 100% of the power to the rears to do a RWD burnout is impossible.
@VancityAudi4 жыл бұрын
I'm saving up for a rear LSD.
@fepethepenguin82874 жыл бұрын
@@VancityAudi ohhh I see. So 100% rwd bias is still 5050

Why is he always yelling..

Because I'm ridiculously passionate about what I do. In my current videos I have calmed it down a bunch to not annoy people.
