It’s very raspy, that’s I stayed away from milltek, I’m happy with my decision to have a bespoke exhaust system made, it cost about £500 more than the milltek system but it has that deeper sound. But I guess not everyone wants deeper sound and some people prefer a raspy sound.nice video, I look forward to seeing more content on the RS.

Yeah I prefer smoother/deeper sounds too, honestly prefer the stock sound here but I would definitely take out the OPF.

@@shackleton274 So for the 8V RS3, the earlier cars had the DNWA engine block whereas the newer (can't remember which year) has the DAZA I believe. The main differences are the Engine Block, Cylinder Head, Pistons, Outlet Camshafts, Intake Manifold and Fuel Pump. The DNWA also has no "midpipes" as such, the down- and mid-pipe are the same piece whereas the DAZA they are separate. However both engines are still fundamentally the same, being the EA855 engine code. Basically, DAZA > DNWA (DAZA is a revision of DNWA, much like the different block between the VW Golf mk5 GTI and mk5 GTI Edition 30. Same engine (EA113) but different block and "revision" as such)

YES, change those exhaust tips ASAP, get the black ones if you are chrome deleteing it or get the polished ones if you are planning on keeping the chrome details on the car, the titanium dosnt fit a black rs3 imo. Really looking forward to see this project progressing!

Sounds great, but the blue titanium tail pipes are reminiscent of a halfords special, but it's your car your choice. I can only assume for the MOT you'll stick some sort of CAT on temporarily to pass. Overall, great car and can't wait to see big numbers.

Take a look at your exhaust on the dyno man, it seems to be out of place but once it bounces on the limiter it drops down by about 2cm, sounds beautiful 🥹

I think the Sports Exhaust sounded better to be honest but I think you definitely need different tips for it. Either chrome, carbon or black. Anything but this one. Can't beat a 5 pot sound though.
