Hi Bev and John, You have such a great channel and provide really useful information in a positive and knowledgeable way. Thanks! I'd like to make an appeal about your channel changes. Please don't pare way back on KZbin and go heavily to Facebook or other social media outlet. I was enjoying a wonderful channel that did just that. Many subscribers left them and now they use the FB channel mostly for meetups with Americans overseas. To my mind that kind of negates a major point of travel, which is to meet locals and learn about their culture and the beauty of their country. I look forward to seeing your adventures in 2025 and thank you SO MUCH for taking us along for the rides. Happy New Year!

I love reading travel stories as well and have read several in your store and just added a few I haven’t read to my wish list. I’ll recommend a couple that seem to fit your list: The Comfort Crisis: Embrace Discomfort To Reclaim Your Wild, Happy, Healthy Self by Michael Easter. We listened to it twice on our recent Alaska road trip. For John, especially as a coffee lover, The Monk of Mokha by Dave Eggers is fascinating story about a young Yemeni man’s passion to bring Yemeni coffee to the world. It’s rich in culture, history and adventure.

Great suggestions. I bought the corded plug power strip you have recommended for awhile but now that I use a Ugreen muti point charger similar to the Anker version I only take a single small plug adapter which is much smaller and lighter than the corded plug power strip. I also went all solids so no liquid and pouch or leak issues. This also is smaller and lighter. Keeping the weight down is a bigger challenge than getting everything to fit in carry on for me. I take a full size Tempor pedic pillow which is my biggest and heaviest item. They have a smaller travel version and there are inflatable pillows but none work as well.

Thank you for this video! I love all your recommended, tried and true travel items! I’m just sorry you do it all on Amazon. I may be the rare individual, but I avoid using Amazon for ALL my online purchases. I buy directly from the companies who make the products or go to the local bookstore or gift shop when possible. I know it means paying more, but the author and companies will get a much larger percentage of the profits… Amazon doesn’t treat its employees well and takes business away from small businesses. Nuf sed

What a wonderful video! I've already bought the joggers. To add to your reading, if you are going to the south of France, read Peter Mayle's A Year in Provence. I think there are several books in the series. Frances Mayes book, Under The Tuscan Sun, is SOOOOO much better than the movie. She also has several books on her residence in Italy.

I always love your recommendations!!! We use a vpn- surf shark. I hear Nord and Express vpn are also great. We like bar shampoo and conditioner- Kitsch. Eddie Bauer has Horizon travel pants that are so nice; lightweight, fast drying, 3 way stretch, versatile for hiking and dress pants.
