I got myself the Baseus Bowie E2 earphones for the trips to and from school a year ago. If I had to review them, my opinion would be very similar to the Taotronics S. 79 mentioned in this video. Very decent audio quality, OK passive noise cancellation, not too loud. Battery life estimate is 5 hours of constant use and up to 24 with the charging case. For my specific case scenario, about an hour of sitting on a bus and the occasional music blasting on a weekend, they held up pretty well. I would constantly be surprised to see that the indicator for low battery would only show up at the very end of the week. To me, that’s perfect timing. Would recommend since they were only about $45 on a local store (EC 🇪🇨) and I think they might be even cheaper online.
@christophhaubrich1883 жыл бұрын
Cool video I have the taotronics soundliberty 79 myself, which I really liked for half a year! The sound quality was very good for the price. But I just had one big problem with these. After half a year of using it almost every day, I had to find out that the left headphone, its touchpad, made itself independent. I listened to music normally, had nothing on the touchpad (hat), but stopped, skipped or turned it down. That annoys me very much. It may be that I just got exactly those that weren't good or had a fault, which cannot be ruled out with the price, but now I had to order new ones. I think that's a shame about the headphones, because in my opinion they were really good and they are. But when something like that happens, I can't help myself either.

A L thanks for ur opinion. I decided I will wait for ANC technology to improve further for budget TWS earphones.. since Mpow X3 has a relatively mild ANC. So definitely sound quality-to-cost ratio would have to take importance.. so the Fiil would be the obvious choice.. In fact I just ordered the Fiil T1XS just earlier this evening.. hahaha.. can’t wait to try them out! Hehe..

@@fahrilrizal2860 why do you choose t1xs rather than t1x? I'm between that two now,but don't know what the differences other than the case size
@fahrilrizal28604 жыл бұрын
@@RumiTheSeer I chose it because of 4 main differences- 1) the smaller case 2) it has ambient mode (so u can hear ur surroundings better with both earbuds on). It’s not the best implementation of ambient mode but it works well enough. 3) newer Bluetooth tech for even more seamless/ faster connection and switching between 1 or 2 earbuds. 4) In-ear detection (so it pauses when u take one side or both out of ur ears). Another difference I heard of but can’t confirm is that the T1X sounds more airy than the XS.. but I’ve never owned the T1X so don’t know if it’s true. But with identical equaliser options in the app, I believe they would sound very similar (if not the same)... great clarity, instrument separation and placement.. with bass that hits precisely and without distortion even at the highest volume levels.. But if ur not in any rush to get new earphones, u may wanna wait for El Jefe’s review of the latest Fiil T1Pro.. it’s supposed to look like the T1XS case (and with all its latest functions) but sounds more airy like the T1X.. but with slightly smaller earbuds.. and it has ANC (active noise cancellation)! However the T1Pro global app may not be available for a few more months.. so it may be a long wait before u can unlock the full potential of the T1Pro.

Just a note, the Galaxy Buds do have magnets to hold in the earbuds but because of their shape there's not much contact area so they end up being very weak. Also funnily enough my galaxy buds sound better on my iPhone than on on my Galaxy Note. Playing the same songs sometimes results in audio tearing on the Note while it's perfectly clear on the iPhone. Kinda weird

I just want to find earbuds less than $100 that are finally better than the buds+. I don't care about features or microphone quality all that much, I just want a neutral sound that's similar to how the Ortizan X10 bluetooth speaker sounds. That bad boy (with just one of the 3 EQ settings you can choose from with a button on the spine of the speaker) sounds beautiful! The bass is present but never overwhelming, deep but not at all too thumpy or boomy, and over all the tonality is natural- all sorts of bass sounds good in just about any song I've thrown at this speaker (even bass guitar sounds good with this speaker). Most importantly, the midrange reproduction is the best I've heard from any audio device I've tried- period. Drums, guitars, and vocals are pleasantly separated from each other and rarely come off as distorted sounding or weak compared to the other frequencies/sounds. I guess to paint a fair picture of what I mean, there's a certain "pow" that the snare and cymbals of drums give off. I understand that different artist have different songs that are all mixed in individual ways, so one song may have cleaner sounding reproduction than another (this basically applies to any other instruments or elements in general). Anyways, this speaker reproduces that energy and flavor with a sonic presence I can only describe as "natural" and "dynamic". I can trust this speaker to get the percussion section of just about any Primus, Rage Against the Machine, or Van Halen song just right- but I wouldn't be so bold to say this $40 speaker will replace anything high-quality you may have at home. That said, guitars have just the right amount of meat and tonal depth, so those muted chugging rhythms sound just as on-point as the riffs and licks do. Additionally, since the stereo imaging outdoes any other audio device I've had (except for the Samson SR850 headphones i have which it kind of ties with in that regard), multiple instruments and details including the kinds that electric or acoustic guitars produce stand out from each other fairly well. Vocals- I don't really pay too much attention to how pure vocals sound compared to the rest of the music- but I think they're well presented with this speaker. The treble range for the X10 is about as balanced as the bass; it doesn't exceed it's purpose nor does it fall flat too often. I was pleasantly surprised how advantageous the advertised "surround sound" was since the treble range is especially making use of it with the occasional spreading of cymbals in a way that sounds fun and immersive. TLDR: Ortizan X10 bluetooth Speaker is the neutral sound experience I never knew I needed or how to describe. For the roughly $40 price tag, the sound experience is mind blowing in how clean and pure even the busiest of songs feel compared to even the priciest of earbuds. Forgot to mention- it's more of an indoor speaker since outside I'd feel very tempted more often than not to crank the volume past the 9/15 (60%) safety spot that Samsung phones have. If you know, you know. What I want is an earbud version of that realistic experience where lead instruments are actually in the lead, the drums don't sound like thudded shit water, and bass guitar doesn't sound like bloated mess. The Liberty 2 Pros, Liberty 3 Pros, Sony XM4s, Bose Quietcomfort earbuds, Nuratrue earbuds, final audio ze3000 earbuds, Shure TWS buds, Sennheiser CX400BT buds, and countless cheap wired and wireless ones I've tried all failed to achieve the perfection this random speaker from a random brand has. The only two that I've tried that have come close to this greatness are the original galaxy buds, buds+, and the AKG N400nc buds. Each of them have their faults- the OG buds have the best stock tuning of the three but are ridiculously soft/quiet and the left bud stopped working after a bit. The buds plus have that steady, naturally interpreted bass- but the lower mids and mid-mids have dips that push certain details too far back for the music to be anywhere close to neutral- or natural. For a short while I believe dynamic mode to be the rescuer of the OG buds and Buds plus, but nah..didn't solve the problem all too well. Soft mode on the Buds+ is as good as they're going to get for me without having to screw with the EQ on my phone, which I hate doing since that has never "fixed" what was truly "wrong" with any of those earbuds I tried. Then there's the AKGs...hmmm... they're okay. They have a timbre and soundstage that would suggest fidelity but in the end that exaggerated bass response buries everything great about the way the AKGs sound under a thick blanket of warmth that once again only artificial music could benefit from. That's my main beef with how earbuds sound- they all sound specifically and solely tailored to make tiktok music sound fun and engaging. Wanna enjoy the greatest tunes of past generations? You'll have to put up with mediocre reproduction quality 😐 and I guess the closest thing to the ideal headphone sound to me that would probably make your recommendations more in-line with what I want- Stax Lamba headphones (yes, the pair that Dankpods has shown in recent videos). I especially like the song sample he used to compare all those vintage headphones he was showing since it allowed the Stax to strut their stuff in terms of how powerful the piano was. Bass was still impressively present too, everything just felt and sounded life-like right away. I guess that's ultimately what I want out of a pair of earbuds. So far what yotubers and consumers have been calling "amazing sound quality" is a watered down, overly bassy version of what music is supposed to be. Anyways, that's my hour long rant and dreams 😭😆
