You can make a tune 6 better than a stg2 of apr, and another BIG pro is the datalog, and for ppl who like to drag races, you can set a boost control for each gear

Not consistently. Have you seen a heartbeat monitor? That’s the AFRs JB4 gives. It’s not a smooth curve either. Good product but no way better than a tune.

I don't know what happened in you run, but it does not. Having had both, I can tell you The JB4 map6 doesn't even keep up with APR stage 1 (high torque). Toe be fair, I also had the DSG tune done at the same time, so that had something to do with it, but it's not even close on mine.

stage 1 jb4 shits on apr stage 1 all day long. stage 2, theres a bit of messing around but the jb4 in fact will keep up if not exceed apr. stage 3 however, you need custom tune, jb4 doesn't offer custom remap. only downside ive found.

Jb4 GTI with a stock golf R? Yes It'll even be faster than a stock STI (from a roll of) Torque really kicks in 3k-4k rpm

MeltingRubberZ28 JB4 is a junk product. It eats coils and kills jecs. It’s cute but it’s not a real tune. It’s tricks the ecus values and confuses the system and always plays catch up. Flash or protune. Yes APR is better
