I used the Lighthouse Vario pages for my more expensive notes and I put them in mylar-D sleeves prior to putting them in the pages. I have a BCW album for cheaper notes. The BCW albums are more prone to yelling over time and may damage the notes. Hope that helps. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. Best, ACI

Interesting video! We can all learn things about the hobby and it's nice to see what other people collect. Did you know what the value of those dollar bills were (at the start of the video) before you sent them off for grading? It must have cost more to mail them to PCGS and have them graded, than they are worth (in value).
@currencyworld
@currencyworld 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Eric, Thanks for watching. The 1957 in that grade sells for $30-50 and the older older silver certificate in the much rougher grade perhaps $20-30. I bought these graded and have sold them since. Ungraded those particular bills are worth very little. For large dealers grading is relatively inexpensive since they tend to receive heavy discounts due to the volume of business/ other connections to these grading companies. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. I look forward to hearing from you again soon. Best, ACI

If possible, can you make a video about how each Confederate State produced their own 'state' banknotes? As I wrote on another of your videos, I have Confederate banknotes from Florida; The bank of Chattanooga Tennessee; Louisiana; Texas; Alabama; Georgia; Virginia; Arkansas; North Carolina; Mississippi; and, I even have a Confederate 5 Dollar banknote from the South Carolina Cotton Planters Loan Association. Until I saw your videos, I really haven't looked at these banknotes in quite some time...thank you for that! :)

Very nice quality but would have been awesome if you at least mentioned the 1918 flying eagle or 1899 black eagle. Both are rather inexpensive in respectable condition(up until vf25 or so). Check my video out I have all the notes you do plus the ones is mentioned and more!(pun intended;)
@currencyworld
@currencyworld 9 жыл бұрын
+Tylosaurus Asaurus Thanks for the comment and the input. I will definitely checkout your videos. Yes both notes are relatively inexpensive, but I am holding off on buying a black eagle. I would like to get an UNC example. The educational $1 would make a nice addition as well. The Hawaii notes and the various types of the later silver certificates are also things I plan on covering in future videos.

Tylosaurus Asaurus Probably a bit more. American banknotes have become very expensive in the last decade. That why I do a lot of foreign notes, but those have picked up as well. Especially the French and French colony notes.
@currencyrelics2227
@currencyrelics2227 9 жыл бұрын
+currencyworld They all certainly have, and the sad part is that all your notes(and mine really) are considered cheap and common. While this remains true and they really aren't THAT expensive, it still isn't a hobby for everyone because of the necessary budget! Also to your one question I want to see a one dollar bill extension or 10 dollar bills!;)
@currencyworld
@currencyworld 9 жыл бұрын
+Tylosaurus Asaurus Yes you are right and thanks for the suggestion. All of the notes in this video are very common and relatively inexpensive. I will be showcasing some rare and very rare notes from my collection later on. I will do a $10 bill collection video very soon. I must admit my collection of United States banknotes is a bit lacking (although I do have a few rarer pieces). I mostly specialize in old foreign notes.
