Yeah, I think Madame Web is being very underestimated, she pretty much turns every card in a location into a Jeff that you can move at your own leisure (well one per turn, but you get the idea), and she only costs 2. She will have a big impact and not just on move decks.

@@margustoo I think she'll be fun and could potentially be strong, yes, but she does have weaknesses. She's an ongoing card that can be shot down. And as she only moves one card per turn, that gives your opponent plenty of opportunity to counter with a Red Guardian or Enchantress which you know most people will use when she comes out. And unlike Warmachine where you could play whatever card you wanted the very next turn if you had the energy and their effects go through, she requires cards to already be put down and then moved, so on reveal effects happen first (but ongoings will thrive). Will she be good? I think she will and I'm really excited for her as someone who really likes move, but I'm also trying to stay grounded and not over hype her like everyone did Warmachine just in case she turns out to not be as great (but I really hope she is).

If Jeff and nocturne were and still are so strong because they can move, there is no way that madame Web which allows every single card in your deck to basically become a jeff isn't a really strong card. Even in non move decks the card's versatility is nuts, it can essentially replace something like a jeff in many decks

You have a point but Jeff can be played anywhere. That is why he is so good. You can play him into any location even miniature lab. Nocturne changes locations on moving so it’s not just the move aspect we look at. Madame web can only move 4 cards per game. So I can see her working with storm.

It’s kinda like swarm in the sense that it will go back to your hand, which you don’t want with the Apoc/MODOK/Dracula combo. You will have to find a way to play it late game so Dracula can always still hit Apoc.

I really think War Machine becomes an Activate card too; I don't think you mentioned that but it just makes SO much sense to me. You can play him on curve but don't have to waste his ability and can save it for turn 6, without WM having to be buffed to Ongoing which would probably be absolutely cracked. Seems like a perfect Activate candidate like Zabu. EDIT: And War Machine being a relevant Activate card could also mean that you could play a really fun Hulkling + WM where War Machine negates the downside of two of the worst Hulkling rolls (Infinaut and Giganto) just making Hulkling a 6/11 base again when rolling those.

Madam Web seems extremely good, and Im not even thinking about move decks. Just pile up your cards there, and see which lanes your opponent is going for, then pick and choose which lanes you actually want go for and win in the later rounds. Its also a good way to make your opponent guess on where they want to throw a turn 6 shang chi if your high power card is on madam web.

For example my family's surname is a common mexican name Muñoz, pronounced (moon-YOSE) Also 2 Ls together make a y sound, like lechuguilla (lay-choo-GEE-ya) Also if you see gu or qu, there are two rules Gua and guo or qua ans quo make a "kw" or "gw" sound, like guapo (handsome, GWA-po) But gue and gui or que and qui just make the "k" or "g" sound. Scorn might be proven to be quite impactful. With 3 discards from Colleen + Blade + MODOK, you're adding 9 power to the board, get 1/5 on hand for T6 while also activating Collector and Morbius.

I think 3 1s, 3 2s, and 3 3s, and 2 6s is the secret sauce for me. Cards that are great with Wiccan:Kate, sunspot, Snowguard, Caiera, Loki, Copycat, Odin, Coulson, etc. Wiccan is the next Namora/Cannonball

So many ppl are sleeping on scorn. If you discard it once, it adds two points to a card and becomes a 1/3 you can play next turn. That pretty much makes it a 1/5 with the condition of having to discard it and wait a turn. If you discard it again, it adds 3 to the field and becomes a 1/4. Discarding it two times pretty much makes it a 1/9 but the power is spread out horizontally. You could do this w colleen wing and modok pretty consistently. Im looking at it as a discard version of marvel boy. Its definitely replacing miek for me. But hey, lmk if im just not thinking ab something that makes it bad

@@FilmColossus well, it counters Cassandra and Darkhawk a bit better since you won't have +15 cards in your deck after playing Loki. Plus, if you have decent cards in hand already when you go to play Loki, you're not just having them replaced anymore. Old Loki could certainly have pop off moments, but I think the new Loki is better in Arishem decks specifically.

I like Nimrod. I run him in my Deadpool deck simply because he's a good target for the same cards that buff Pool, like Nakia and Gwenpool. If he gets buffed and then fed to Arnim Zola he can lay down some power enough to net you some wins BECAUSE you don't see him much these days. I haven't actually been getting ANY of the featured cards in the spotlight cache though anyway. My last two pulls were the surprise random and those turned out to be Iron Lad and War Machine respectively.

Hulkling seems great! Getting a random 6 cost card like The Raft or Valentina (without the negative power in her case!) sounds amazing! I also just love random cards like Arishem and Loki so Hulkling fits perfectly. Imagine an 11 power Galactus or Arnim Zola! And you don't HAVE to play him if you don't want.

Being free to play and having the 2 older cards in the caches and only needing the new card makes it very difficult to obtain them. I wish I could still spend my keys and just pick the card I want. I don't have time to play hours a day to obtain keys. Oh and it takes for ever just to save up 6000 tokens so I'm lucky to use that maybe once every other month.

Herc requires a move enabler AND a move payoff, whereas Madam Web only needs a move payoff. So we really haven't seen move at this level (Arana is also extremely good), so it remains to be seen if move as a deck can be that strong

I think my official pet peeve about Snap is the fact that of these two cards: Shadow King (2/2) On Reveal: Set all cards here to their base Power Valkyrie (5/3) On Reveal: Set all cards here to 3 Power one of these cards overrides Luke Cage's effect and the other one doesn't. Which way it works is going to make a big difference in how good Anti-Venom is. If Shadow King is going to uniquely work differently, it needs to be worded differently, e.g. "Remove all non-ongoing power-modifying effects from cards here".

Madame Web 5 stars, silver sable 2 stars. It's not a move card as priority, it's Angela, kitty and surprise card as priority as opponent never knows what is going to happen. Is this location locked? I feel like scorn could be really good. Turn 3 you play a blade and a Colleen. You could have a 2/6 (+2) wing and 1/6 (+3) blade and scorn is now 4 power. All while buffing Mieke and morbius. Sounds great to me.

Bruh ngl, may be copium, but we sleeping on Madame Web. I think it does work as intended that you choose to move the card and place like cloak but this is a direct power creep since imagine combine with Hercules bouncing. Or in general, have a card enabling other cards to be like Vision, Jeff or nocturne. Idk man, might be cope, might be cracked.

I am absolutely a move gamer lol, I try it every time they give more buffs a go, honestly what we have now feels pretty solid, it really is just missing a few more cheap flexible move cards imo. So I Totally disagree on madame web, at 2 mana, and ongoing I think she is going to provide a lot of value sitting left, moving things out to get hiemdalled back. The ability to choose where they go is really strong.

madame web is NOT another hercules, and will actually make hercules viable. It allows you to move a card every turn... drop a big card on her lane turn 5 and your opponent has no idea if you're moving it last turn or keeping it. You can buff cards with elsa bloodstone and move them away next turn. Move enablers are extremely powerful cards which is why SD have been so hesitant to release more of them.

Luke Cage would not effect Anti-Venom since it is Setting the cost and power to 0, at least going by how shadow king works, which honestly I feel like that needs to change back to how it was working.

You play the activate card, and every turn after you can use the activate ability by tapping and holding the card. You cannot use activate on the same turn you play the card. Some activate abilities will require additional energy to use.
