Well put..the 300ex is good for your starting out. Im waiting to buy a mint one someone talked there girlfriend into buying for her first ride smh.. Had a 03 with all the good bolt ons an loved it!!! They will run forever and if you take care of it they will be worth money in the future like the 250R's are today. Clean ridd

I have a 2007 400ex. If it feels comfortable on the street you haven't pushed it. Gotta get the rpm's into the powerband. Great looking quad.

the 400EX has a very wide powerband. It's a great 4 Willa 😂 if the oil is black, pass on it. I run Shell Rotella T6 15W40 full synthetic $ 23.00 gal. I bought my 2001 brand new and it runs strong still

so ive only watched the beginning so far. The 400x/ex is a good beginner machine for clutch. it was my first clutch machine but I had experience on a recon prior. this machine is the perfect machine because it isnt big and it isnt small either.

Nice bike bro! I recently bought a 2002 400ex. I have a Honda rancher I can let the freinds and family ride that. It’s a just little bit slower then the 450. Sexy bike💯 I got on an ltz400 first time on a clutch bike was disappointed tbh too slow then got a 07 400ex witch was the same thing too slow so I put a 440 big bore kit with jetted carburetor now it’s nice the stock 350 fourtraxs keep up to them fuckers until you put mods in but your right Honda is the shit💯

I am thinking on installing a fan to the oil cooler I don’t know if it is really worth it ? , the engine is recently rebuilt With everything stock , even though I feel it gets hot fast

@@jehovanysmilian343 them engines are like trains they unstoppable..if you a hard trail rider a fan wouldn't hurt but it's still going to run strong either way because they are designed for hard core abuse just keep the oil filled leveled and you good to go👍
