Imo its pretty standard quality for budget mics. Its great value with all the accessories. But i can tell through my phone speaker that it has a very muddy sound. Idk of its intentional or not, but it has a lotta focus on mids.
@fattymc.fattyface69442 жыл бұрын
I own the ST-900 and I wouldn't recommend either of the mics. While it has decent sound and it's a full kit, there's issues with background noise and the gain adjustment on Windows doesn't actually adjust the gain; it only adjusts the output. This means you will clip even if your mic is at 1%, and your background noise will never go away. The pop filters aren't good either.
@kiritadoshi2 жыл бұрын
@@fattymc.fattyface6944 You definitely get the quality you pay for with these budget mics. If you need a more studio mic id honestly recommend getting a zero bells and whistles cheap apple earbud quality mic. And saving 100 bucks till you can get something actually proper. Used to have a yeti, fuck that mic. Elgato has been doin pretty nicely, but you can tell the software is new. Not in a bad way, but in a way that its obvious its going to get even more polish and stability updates. Mic itself sounds nice ofc.
