I tried this and it did work. After 8 days I’ve had two fall off, so they don’t last as long as fresh ones, but it’s better than throwing them away.

I had some dry strips that I applied and they started to lift at the edges. After applying them, I used a soft brush and lightly brushed on nail polish remover, waited a few minutes and applied top coat and that worked as well!

Just a suggestion but after doing this method and applying the nail strip back onto your finger nail or fake nails whichever but anyway after doing this method apply a clear coat of actual fingernail polish to help it to stay on better and for a while longer. Enjoy🙂❤

Add Clear As Day bc nail polish top coats are not all good for Color Street. For $11 you get 32 strips.

i'm excited to try this, I have been so discouraged with what to do and I have a ton to use, I had tried the nail polish remover , but only dipped them and tried to use right away , I like the idea of painting on letting them sit for 5 mins , maybe doing another layer to really make pliable. It's still better to me than polishing with regular polish. I'll let you know how they work for me.

All you need is a hair dryer or space heater...works like butter w/out all this Work!! Clear As Day over top instead of nail polish bottle bc Some cause shrinking. Fyi 🤙

Awesome.... I learned my lesson that just folding the bag and paper clipping it or putting them in a sandwich bag dries them out. I do not have that problem when I seal them back in the plastic covering they come in with a hair straightener or an iron.

Thank you for this video, I probably never would have thought of this. I have a Northern Wonder, never opened that behaved this way and this procedure would have worked, I'm sure.

You do not have to do all of that. Either use a hair dryer or space heater. Works like butter!!

No it doesn't work. I've used a heat gun, hair dryer and it made the glitter smudge. So if it was a solid, it would be a total mess not to mention it won't stick.

I don't have a space heater but I tried a hair dryer with no luck. Maybe I need to heat them longer? So far this method was all that worked for me. I have so many dried out nail strips, including one set I got brand new that was dry when I opened them. I'll try just about anything 🙂

Heat only works on Jamberry.

Thank you! I'm going to add clear polish on top of it to see if that will help it stay on longer.

And I also tried the nail polish remover and I couldn't get it soft enough, but I didn't wait that long. But I did do a second coat to try to get it softer.

Are you using remover, or nail polish because he said both. At the beginning you said polish remover but at the end you said nail polish?
@geslinam97037 ай бұрын
I heard you can also warm them up with a hair dryer to make them softer again.

Use a straightener and seal them back in wrapper

It doesnt help

@@shanasmith2961 It has always worked for me. I haven’t had a set yet that is dried out from sealing with a straightener. Now that I say that I probably will. LOL

I reseal the original packaging and they seem to stay perfect for me. I mean it is nail polish. It’s going to dry out if it’s not sealed 🤷🏼♀️

I use my straight iron on the plastic and it melts it closed and seals the package again then just cut to open again

My supplier is my niece and said after you seal the unused back in the original bag-then a sandwich bag, put it in the freezer. I tried this up on this video and (same-Tokyo Lights) and it was too much of a mess to bother. But I wear the fresh ones for 2 weeks and always get 2 manis from 1 set +. But thx for the video.

Did you say nail polish or nail polish remover?

She meant remover. She corrected her self in the comments. I wasn't sure either but it's remover.
