@@NizarGG at first i was going to say the first map but after watching fully the 2nd video the 2nd map at least to me is WAY better all bosses in easy walking distance and the trader and SO much ore and i just call them dungeons so many of them on starter island to me that makes the 2nd WAY better.

This is better than the other because of the number of Sunken Crypts in the nearby swamp. We need a ton of iron. This seed has 20+, the other only has 6.

I tried every best seed I could find and by far this is the seed ever. The Biomes are so compact and full of resources and my progression is very fast. This seed might be good for speed runner

The black forest right next to spawn location is TINY (about 150m across, just a small patch) and contains no pine, blueberries or copper. Just a bit of tin here and there, 1 ruined tower and 1 troll lair (and ENDLESSLY SPAWNING GREYmobs). For core wood you have to run to one of the larger black forests (or lug it in your inventory between maps).

my trader was on the 3rd island away. I enjoyed 150 days (game time) just stuffing around but then started searching for trader, found him at 380 days.

So after a VERY long time searching. I've found 9xG03YbXUf It has very unique features... - Every boss is on the spawn island. - A trader on the spawn island. - Has a maypole on the spawn island. - No boats/raft needed to reach any boss. - Multiple rich swamps with 40+ crypts near main island. Essentially a great boss farming map for those who don't like to use boats.

I started yesterday and build a large building (base) on one of the islands. There is a way to wade through the water without swimming to get to and back to my base. Build a bridge to the island so I could keep dry. Since everything is closed by with the mobs it makes for a changeling game when you first start off.

If you follow the ocean north of you to the east about 3-5 minute run there's a maypole about 30 meters inland, I knocked it down by flattening the ground around it, got the blueprint and built it on top of my roof

Unfortunately, the March 23 patch changed the Moder spawn locations, so using this seed no longer has the first 4 bosses on the island.

@@bert2296 Each boss generally has at least 4 locations it can spawn in, and the location is generally either picked at random by using a vegvisir, or by you tripping over one of the locations while exploring. My last try, she was on an island to the NE, almost at the map edge.

Important thing to note is that the trader spawn location is random. I believe if you go to the spot marked on this video and nowhere else, he will spawn there. It is possible, however, for the trader to spawn at a different black forest location if you visit it first.

There are multiple possible trader locations on a map, but the first one you find becomes the only one on the map.

It took me weeks to find a Swamp with crypts. Then another week to find a Bonemass locator. After I killed Bonesmass (twice due to an issue), EVERY Crypt had locators! Some even had 2!!!

Moder is not on the main island anymore. So you will need a boat for bosses 4 and 5. Still not a bad seed.

I think the devs should consider changing the way the seeds are generated. I think only a tiny number of people actually explore anything close to the entire world. A handful of islands and a world a fraction of the size would be more than enough for most people. More isn't necessarily better.

I logged in this seed and been playing in it for a while but it doesn't look like urs... I was near water but it turned to be a small lake and not an ocean and the spawn point is a bit further away from this specific lake it is a few feet away in the wood

yet another recent clip of moder not being anywhere near that marker. two stacks of thistle and 3 stacks of flint later cross the ocean with a raft and hit the plains which arent on this map keep going south and then 50 clicks south again and then i reach it. This seed aswell as "Helloworld" dont have moder anywhere near the description.

Noticed some oddities with this map. First is that blobs are pulling up "enemy:blob" as their name (including the elites). I've also been unable to find the stonehenge that points to the location of Yagluth. Yes, I know where the location to summon him is, as I went there directly, but I'd like for it to show on the map with the icon. I've scoured somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 plains biomes, only found 3 henges, and none of them had the runestone. Very frustrating. EDIT: 8 more plains biomes cleared, around 3-4 more henges, and still no runestone. I literally found a second summon altar for Yagluth in all this searching. Either something's wrong here or the runestones/hedges for this guy are exceptionally rare for no reason. EDIT2: 2 more biomes, 1 henge, and finally found the runestone. This really needs changed -- it's annoying enough to have to go 3 biomes over to find materials, but being forced to traverse half the world, finding TWO boss altars before finding a runestone for those altars, is ridiculous. Plus, it showed the location of the other altar I found and not the one shown in the video. Hurray.

Seed “Trader” has a trader Very close to spawn location, just run north, no mountains or anything in your way. View it on the seed generator to get a better idea of what else it has to offer. I use it for the trader as it’s the closest I’ve yet to find from the starting location.

So in your mind it is perfect, for vikings not to use a ship? Wonder why the longhouse is that shape..? (kinda ruins the purpose of the game) Like we just started a new server, we went to the swamp, and you know that deathloop for our longship material is there where our gravestones are, so sure we can make more iron nails from that swamp material we got, so the swamp that was on our elder island was small, but there was a small waterway to a large swamp, and our base is there at that small swamp with the respawn but its like a raft per try, so like the question is, should we make more shit armor, or do the deathspawn dance. we had fun, and yea we got the items by building shelter near the border of the second swamp, baby steps.

I didn't like this seed. Tried it with a new character. Within first ten steps was face to face with a troll. The black forests on the starter island only had a couple of burial chambers and they weren't easy to find. similarly the swamps on the starter island were scarce on crypts. I am now playing on the seed Freya (just tried different Norse gods & names). The starter island has nice resources, but Bonemass is a bit farther away.
