Witch bolt? You mean that one-shot 300 damage spell? Okay it’s truly trash in most of the playthrough. It’s only broken under Larian’s mechanics (which synergizes with wet, destructive wrath and luck of the far realm).

No buff routine before big fights? I'd imagine you use more than just the Physick buffs.

trench and wall are what i do and i like to throw wolves in the trench and keep them fed for some breeding and bingo until later raids.

Shadowheart does the job for my tav. She gets her spirit guardians with all the reverb/radiant orbs. She doesn’t need to hit, just stand nearby everything so no enemy can hit and they all take 20-30 damage for being in her proximity. Her turns all all utility spells. It’s great

i've only ever using conjuring barage as ranger minsc.... but honestly you _really_ shouldn't be playing minsc as solo ranger, really should multi-class him to fighter or beserker for lore, or into almost anything else for meta. they must have changed grasping vine a lot, for me it was a lv. 3 non-concentration spell that uses a bonus action that had twisting vines around it even after it died, so while it was still pretty much it could be used for stalling enemies around chokepoints.

I'm at level 140 with this build and a little less than halfway and the trick is knowing what combos to use--I really like this build. The horn attack is no joke. I can't get the timing down for a consistent tail attack but when it lands, it' funny, Now, I'm off to get the Daemon Paladin set and go hunting for Tree Sentinels. What i Could See as a Use for true strike is: Cast It on yourself before combat, wait a turn, then attack, so you have advantage, without skipping a round where the enemy is attacking you. But honestly, that would be too much effort imo.

Aspect of the crucible, with flame pillar, magma sling/demi-human queen staff +25, with golden vow, and black flame buff while using smithing cirque with bloodhounds step and blood ailment, and reduvia as my offhands. Godfrey icon, blood lords exaltation. Shard of alexander and graven mass as my talismans with the new fire knight dlc armor set at level 297 has been my build for a few days now and ill say it shreds

This is insane the amount of time you devote to creating your own lore builds, but something very cool that people actually want to play and they're good!! Like, REALLY good, fun to play builds!
