Sure does Robby, and at only $130 bucks US or $200AU it's an absolute Bargain! There are a lot of pricier budget RC's out there that don't come with as much as you get in this RTR kit. Pretty quick off road on 2S as well 👍

Did flyhal beef up those diffs. The older xlf x03 diffs and gears in the gear box? were problem some.

I’d say so, I haven’t had any issues with diffs on these XLF trucks and I have reviewed quite a few of them now. Only the very first models had issues with diffs but that was a couple years ago.

I'm just reading about this truck online. It originally came shipped with 1500 mAH batteries, then 1600 mAH batteries, but i see it now has 2200 mAH batteries. Lots of the older reviews say it came with friction shocks? Are they definitely oil shocks now?

Yes cause this upgraded model is based on the Hosim X07 but much cheaper then the Hosim truck on amazon

Tryin to cross compare, I can’t see any differences between this and the considerably more expensive hosim x-07 you mention, other than a single bigger lipo on the hosim vs 2x smaller ones and no lipo bag. What am I missing cos this seems really great value for money and a viable alternative to the hbx 901a ? Does this absolutely definitely have oil shocks as i remember you saying the X04 didn’t, in the end ?

This one seems to dampen the bumps better and is less bouncy than the XLF X04 i tested a while back, so i think these shocks are oil filled but possibly could use firmer springs or heavier weight oil, thanks for watching mate 👍

Need to compare with the HBX 901a (which would be the very close to the same size [it's 1/12, but I think this truck is closer to 1/12 as well] and pretty similar price).

I like this better than the HBX 901A, overall better value cause you get a lot of extras where on the 901A you don’t, better run times also and it seems just as durable, plus on 3S this thing would go a lot quicker, thanks for watching mate 👍

@@PERTHWESTOZRC thanks that's good to hear your opinion. I have read that *most* people run hbx 901a fine with 3s (36mph). I have a 16889a pro and want something bigger ( MT10 / 901a / 124016 v2 / X03 ), ZDR MX07 would be cool, but the price is more than I want to spend on something I only occasionally get to play with. I'll have to consider this one then :)

So confusing with all the different names. I have a pair of Xinlehong 9125's that are getting pretty tired and back when I bought them Hosim was another name for Xinlehong now you're talking about xlf so is that the new name for Xinlehong? Sheesh.

No its not the new name for Xinlehong, no parts on these are compatible with Xinlehong trucks. Hosim rebrand all types of manufacturers RC trucks and sell them on Amazon, such as the new Hyper Go they sell is actually from MJX, which you probably knew anyways, GPtoys also had a rebranded Xinlehong 9125 and they called it the S920 Judge. XLF seem to be their own company with no affiliation with xinlehong as they even have their own website also. they just seem to use the same style wheels and tyres thats all.

I had no overheating issues with this one, and i ran it for longer than what was shown here in this video. Maybe on 3s the motor would get a lot hotter! thanks for watching bro 👍

I think the biggest diferent, is that X07 can use 3s lipo, but the X03 must use 2s lipo. I think the ESC are smaller?
