They have refurbished units on sale for like $100-130. I always surfed with a weed sprayer and it was decent. My buddy was gifted a RinseKit Pro and it’s so sick! We can spray off our boards/foils/gear and ourselves with plenty water left. He said it’s enough for a few people and gear. It’s also very easy to pack more water or refill this wherever you’re at.

Those are exactly the sorts of use cases that I imagine this for! A portable shower that you can have setup at all times, and then move when you need to. That's sort of how it will be dialed into the van. Setup and ready to rock, then when we want to, just take it with us!
@deviousd18712 жыл бұрын
Since it has a battery powered pump, if it had a water filter attachment, I'd love to have on job sites where you have to bring in bottled water, on road trips and in a boat where you are surrounded by water that is not save to drink. Great review! I heard the owner say you can add hot water to them. Have you seen in the manual what temp you can put in. Such as, piping hot water from the sink? Then it would sit in the car for a while and cool down by the time you need to use it. I bought the new one, the cube, and I want to know how hot the water can be going in. The cube, at this time, does NOT have an available heating element. You can buy the separate tank but its like another $400 bucks. dont need that.

Cool product. Im really a fan of the Waterport 3.8. More slim lined, and black so you get warm water by leaving it in the sun for an hour without the heater. Slightly larger tank. Also added Air Compressor feature. The Battery power is super nice feature on the RinseKit but Waterport comes in at $200 at Costco. The convenience of the battery, for a second fill up isn't worth the $100+ when I have a battery powered or car charger air compressor in my ride already personally. Love the video though, portable water is so handy with these kids man lol
@Rinsekit3 жыл бұрын
What happens when you can't be near your car?
@lestat9643 жыл бұрын
@@Rinsekit not sure what you mean? But i usally just take it with me, you know it has a pump in the lid, or I can use a small bicycle pump. ALSO my compressor is battery operated and fits in my pack or in a pocket. Its design being slim lined distributes the water weight better IMO making it easier to carry when full. Not like Im walking around all over the place with 40lbs of water usally anyways, and when empty the Waterport 3.8 is lighter if i was. Only thing weighing me down is that extra $100+ in my wallet.
@Rinsekit3 жыл бұрын
@@lestat964 have you tried our newest product the PRO?
@lestat9643 жыл бұрын
@@Rinsekit Yeah, it worked as intended. But honestly I never found myself in a situation were I needed to rinse on a refill, were I didnt have my $30 flashlight sized battery air compressor. And thats all you need to pressurize the Waterport 3.8 (or use the attached pump) if you are in a refill situation and dont have access to a faucet. At the Lake, Beach, Camping, Kids Sporting events, Traveling Route 66, Dirt Biking etc, I ALWAYS have the compressor on me for kids inflatables, bike tires, sports equipment, air boats. The Waterport is heated by the sun, holds 3.8 gallons, has a more slimline design (making it easier for my wife to carry when needed.) For the $100+ saving I found having a Battery Compressor that doubles as a flashlight with the waterport fit my needs better then using the Pro so i returned it. Nothing wrong with the Pro, just in my experience, the set up I described above gave me more bang for my buck, and more flexibility for real world use. Loom forward to seeing future updates from RinseKit though as the company makes a VERY good product.

So for the non camper that I am....now I can become a camper because I can have shower on the go? Is that what you're saying? :) How good is it for rinsing shampoo out of hair (at what setting)? Did you test that? Maybe that should be a wife test since she has long hair. LOL Questions: How durable is that hose nozzle? I drop my regular hose on the ground a lot...it looks like plastic...are there quick connect regular nozzles out there or is it proprietary? Too pad the rinse pro motion sensor doesn't have a shower setting or does it? Looks like it was just the one faucet setting?

I'll absolutely have Morgan test that out, because for me it works great for that, but she has super long hair, so for sure a bit more of a task. Yes. The website just says it is a 12V lead acid battery which aren't the best. I would want a user replaceable battery so you could then use a small LiFePO for longer battery life & longevity.
