Thank you for your excellent review on Simon. I just discovered him singing this song 12 days ago and had to listen to all his videos. I thought I was looking at Russian landscape until the mountains appeared then I knew we were in the Pacific Northwest where I live. I am adding Simon to my bucket list. I love to sing and my life would just be complete to have an opportunity to sing with Simon. I believe the deeper voice is Simon also. Sounds like he layers his songs singing his own harmony in many songs. His artistry leaves me completely mesmerized. Simon has a whole series called 'epic version's Basically he makes an epic version when he feels particularly inspired. His two best in my opinion are 'Poor Wayfaring Stranger - Epic Version Feat. Chris Rupp' and 'Wonder As I Wander - Epic Version.'

7:14 Yes there was a key change. Originally he was in F minor, and at that part he goes half a step up to F# minor.
