Many, many years ago, I use to visit that Vietnamese deli often when I was in the area. I'm glad to see that they're still open and serving yummy foods. I'll have to pay them a visit so I can get some of that goodness.

Seattle Deli across the street on Jackson (across from the beef rib pho) one of the best bahn mi’s in town. Same style deli as the one in this video!

Seattle Deli has been closed for some time now. The building was demolished and new condominiums built.

@@schan3 no it's been closed down for some time now. I grew up around the area and went to Bailey Gatzert. I also use to work in the area about 2 years ago. They had the deli then but last time I went there it was gone.

You guys are brave 😅 That place is on 12th & Jackson... sketchy area of Seattle due to the drugs and homeless. There used to be a spot across the street where they had huge bowls of pho and if you finished it all it was free. Now they moved to Tukwila bc of the crime.

Yea I saw that with all the homeless in the area with so much trash being thrown all over the streets. There was a few guys staring at us so it was pretty sketchy but the didn’t do anything. Yes this spot is on Jackson and it’s my favorite spot to go to back in the days when I got off of work. The food here is still delicious as always. I believe I been to that pho restaurant

@@washingtonlife I'm going to have to try it out. If you guys ever have a road trip North of Seattle to Everett plz check out my brother and sister-in-law's poke restaurant called Poke Boy. They are 5 stars rating. My sister-in-law is from Vietnam and made the menu so you know it's good lol

I used to go here a ton when I lived across from Franklin High School. Sketchy or not, it is full of vibrant good food. I hope there is Eritrean food around there still as well as Lao and Vietnamese.
