BEST View in Capitol Reef | Hickman Bridge | Rim Overlook | So Much Color!

For our first morning in Capitol Reef we start early at the popular, Hickman Bridge trail. After taking our time enjoying the stunning arch without the crowds, we set off for the Rim Overlook. With hopes of reaching the Navajo Knobs Overlook we pushed up the reef. The Rim Overlook was breathtaking with sweeping views of Fruita, the orchards, and the water pocket fold. We decide to bail on the knobs however and head back down for much needed supplies and of course, PIE!

Rim Overlook Trail
Distance: 4.3 mi.
Elevation Gain: 1066 ft.

Bless you for picking up the trash that some very inconsiderate person left on such a beautiful trail! The type of person who left the trash is also the type of person who puts graffiti on the natural landscape. I like your idea about "branding" by the way 🙂. Capitol Reef is beautiful.
