This was probably our favorite excursion inside Capitol Reef NP. The scenic drive to the end into Capitol Gorge was beautiful and then the hike at the end through the slot canyon was a great way to start the day. we really enjoyed this one, especially the breathtaking views of the canyon walls as we slowly drove by them.

Been a 79 follower for a long while. Started following your adventures when I saw you were in Nebraska, just 30 minutes from my house. You've since shown me some awesome places and I'm in awe of how beautiful this country is. Much love and admiration to you both.

Absolutely breathtaking scenery. Glad you two got to see it on your hike. You guys were right....the traffic coming in and the parking lot was filling up. Your plans to be up early and see the various trails and features pays off...

Hi Adam & Abbi. Thank you *** I am 64 now and some of the places your are seing brings back so many memeires when I was a young child 10 -11 years old. My mom and dad took the same trip with me when I was younger. Brought tears to my eyes in a good way thank you again. Do miss the greasy machine stuff though. GOD BLESS.

Beautiful spot to see. Time is a measure of movement. That's an incredible amount of earth moved by water and wind to create those canyons over the millenia. Amazing. Camera mounted on the canyon walls spying is....🤢ning.

I've been reading a lot of Louis L'Amour westerns of late and when I see these images of these 'canon' (with the Spanish tilde) I imagine "Injuns" hiding in ambush behind each rock with our western hero, a Winchester in hand, sixgun (or two) on hip, leading his horse real careful like up the draw then a thunderous wall of water and debris sweeping down upon the scene as our plucky explorer finds an old trail left by the ancient ones which takes him to the safety of a hidden cave. The fires of a thousand years ago are burnt like souls into the walls and some places marks of children down low and away from the main are imitations of the same great beasts that the men hunted and the women cooked and the tales were told of great warriors deeds and hunts from long ago. Thanks for taking me along for the ride. (Adam, need a new (old) baby shaper or the 1880"s planer. Think of the content you could make. )

Nice music in the beginning and cool video. (Whenever I drove on a 'scenic' drive, I didn't see anything because if I started looking off to the side, I started steering towards what I was looking at and that was bad.) I quote, "Certain death to the left. Certain death to the right. Pay attention." (Adam. Going to buy anything from Lance?)

The Abom name should be up there on the Pioneer Register. Well, if those guys are there from as late as 1911, the Abom name would look good there also.

I would love to get back out West and go see all them places,, Now read Nahum 1:5, Amos 9:5 and 13, Psalm 97:5, 2 Peter 3:10 and 12,, That's what I think all that is,,, melted build'ns and citys,, what is a kicker,,, Zechariah 14:4,,, think Grand Canyon,, it is East of "Sin City"/Las Vegas,,,,, just like the Mount of Olives from Jerusalem,,, many areas and landmarks match Scripture to a T,,,,,, God Bless
