It pays to be a pretty small size when shopping these stores. Typically French women are not very big and or tall. There was (not certain they are still there) not far from the Trocadero Metro stop, a large group of resale shops of designer clothes. They are NOT super cheap but if you are really interested, the chance to get a REAL Chanel, or Dior that would sell for a few thousand euros or dollars, for 5 or 6 hundred is a great deal.
