A Teal Penguin Both antiviruses will see each other as viruses. This is due to the fact that antiviruses rely and run on Virus Code.

Zopolis0 No. It’s not because it’s that. Even though it probably is. An antivirus always detects other antiviruses. When another antivirus tries to delete a virus/Trojan file. Another antivirus will see this and think the antivirus is the virus because it is “manipulating files”.

Actually, recently I had to build my dad a new PC, and recover his data from his HDD. Something fried in the old PC, and it wouldn't turn on, so I immediately removed the hard drive and built a new PC, out of some spare parts I had, and put the hard drive and a win 10 one in there and recovered everything off of it. My parents were soooooo proud, and amazed that I actually accomplished that. He thought he was going to lose his stuff. Now I'm the "PC expert/human antivirus" for the whole family, lol.
