@@danielrocks1999 The TLM103 by a land slide. I use that microphone for literally every thing. I have a twin mkII duo as my interface and the pre amps on that bad boy are second to none! The Rode Ntk (which is almost half the price) would be a close runner up but you need a whole other outlet to power it up which is super annoying.

Hello Bro, Great video and keep up the good works. I may get the U87 to use as my main vocal microphone. What would you say is most noticeable when recording female vocals with the TLM 103 vs U87? Also in what scenarios would you choose to use the Rode NTK over the U87?

Top Notch Audio The U87 is a great investment for sure and thank you 🙏🏽. The most noticeable differences are it’s a little hotter (louder signal) and something is special on the top end of the frequency spectrum. The TLM103 is hellaciously similar to the sound of the U87. It’s almost scary. Most people can’t really hear the difference but a trained ear can. I hope this helps and thanks for commenting and supporting 🙌🏽

Ok I'm building a mic locker all of these are mics I already own and I'm mearly asking for experienced opinions I have 1. Rode Nt1a 2. AKG c414 3. Neumann Tlm 102 4. Neumann Tlm 103 5. Shure ksm44 6. Scarlett Studio (my back pack mic ) mobile 7. Blue bluebird 8. Blue spark 9. Blue Baby bottle Is there any that you would add to it or take away from it and if you had experience using either one good or bad I did my very own mic test using my apollo twin and using the neve 1073 , the avalon 737 and 610B plug ins so far I loved the Tlm 103 and the neve 1073 but they all sound great just different as we all know

Reek So Loud tlm 102. It is great. I am a trumpet player but whenever I talk into it it sounds great. It’s like a u87 or a tlm 103 but not the price of one. Also at 4040 is like an inexpensive tlm 102

playaflyJOE27 Thank you so much! You can never go wrong with any of audio technica’s AT series. The special things about the AT4047mp are it’s transparent as hell and it has multiple patterns which is why I love a lot of higher end mics. I did a few of my first songs on the 4040 and 4047. You’re good to go 🙌🏽

Well for one, I sold it so I could get the money for another mic, and two, cause all the pros do it, They all start out with a 103 but every single one of them ends up recording on an 87 or a Sony 800g, There has to be a reason besides they all have the money to buy any mic they want , them mics have to sound good

I love my Neumann TLM103. But the AT4050 is also a nice sounding microphone.

I think your audio interface is extremely important if you're going to purchase a high end microphone. I use the TLM103 with my Twin duo mkII and honestly I do everything from tracking live drums to recording Rap vocals and rnb vocals. Every thing comes out professional grade with very little polish needed when it's all said and done.

What's up Halat? The AKG 414 will be a better choice because it's a little more detailed and plus it more versatile with switchable polar patterns. It's a better deal and better for different applications. I hope this helps.

Honestly, I would put my music on IG and KZbin. We producers are always looking for talent to work with. Especially producers that want to work in the studio verses just selling beats. Vishal is correct. You can uses songwriter, singer hashtags and producers will definitely want to connect and contact you if you music is great and has potential. I hope this helps :)

If you are on a budget $100-$150, I would start with an Audio Technica AT2020 or AKG P120. But if you have a $300-600, I would suggest the Bluebird SL or Rode NTK. I hope this helps.

Nicky bog Hey Nicki! I don’t really recommend USB microphones for a home studio and recording solution. But I would say if you don’t have any other choice, the AT2020 usb is a pretty good option.

It’s awesome you are pursuing your career in rapper. It just depends on what microphone sounds good with your vocals. I would start off with something like an AT2020 or P120. Also it won’t hurt to upgrade in the future.
