I went from cranking up, to turning down, to cranking up 2) make sure the scores aren't cropped-out from the clips - it's helpful to know which teams are losing, winning, tied, etc 3) perhaps let the announcers comments finish before switching to the next clip Otherwise, thanks for making this compilation! @@tjmckenzie4048 How is it not the greatest walk off ever? Cardinals were down to their last strike and last out of the season and were down I think two. David Freese came through and hit a game tying triple. Then two innings later in extra innings he hit a walkoff homer. You can’t get much better than that.
@tjmckenzie4048
@tjmckenzie4048 Жыл бұрын
@@OldBenKenobi2318 I hear ya man. You could argue that it's the greatest game we've ever seen, especially with the fact that it would've won the World Series for the Rangers. Cards were down two twice with two outs and two strikes and they tied the game BOTH times. It was insane (and I hated it because I was cheering for the Rangers). My point is that the walk off portion wasn't as incredible as the actual game an comeback. Freese led off the inning with the homerun in a tie game. Had it been a three run shot with 2 outs and down two runs, then yes, that would be different. Even Pujols 3 run shot off Brad Lidge was WAY more incredible than Freese's homerun. Anyway, I'm not dissing anything Freese did. He was incredible and the Cardinals comeback win was unbelievable.

Wild Card 2009 season-Vs. Packers. The highest scoring playoff game in NFL history(96 points) and the Cards win with a 17 yard fumble recovery in overtime. 2015 Divisional game-Vs. Packers-After Rodgers ties it up at the buzzer with a Hail Mary, Larry Fitzgerald gains 76 yards on a pass and catch then takes a shovel pass to win the game in overtime.

You can’t have a best moment in this category without the Nova buzzer beater or Arizona beating the Yankees to win the World Series.

Always nice to see a video about the "Best Walk Offs" and only feature 1 from the sport that term originated in, and that 1 is only memorable to that specific teams tiny fan base.

I'm a Tigers fan (I know, it sucks) There was going to be way more baseball plays but I ran out of time on this video so part 2 will have a lot more iconic plays and way more baseball

It was memorable to me and I'm not a fan of either team. I loved that play though, since I really dislike the Dodgers.

How about John Elway's most memorable loss: "The band is on the field! The band is on the field!"

@@martyklestadt6766 I didn't see it live, unfortunately. But perhaps one of my favorite parts of that game was that Elway had just completed this incredible long drive to give Stanford the lead and the supposed victory. But in this game, a couple seconds was clearly too much time left on the clock.

@@mdfrenchy Yeah, I was only ten years old at the time. My family was visiting friends out of town, and I just happened to walk into the room where the game was on right before the last play. I didn't know anything about football back then. Except that I DID know that the band wasn't supposed to be on the field at the same time as the players!

@@martyklestadt6766 Yeah the band was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. lol

@@mdfrenchy Right. I found out later that the band had thought that someone with the ball had been tackled and the play (and game) was over. Obviously, this turned out not to be the case, and the trombone player (IIRC) got the worst of it. The one who was crashed into in the endzone. :)
