Oh yeah!!! SW didn't have them on display. I asked if they had them tucked away, and sure enough, they had two of them out back. At that price, you can't pass it up.

FINALLY after countless hours and countless videos I came across yours that compares the two grip sizes as well as other good info, btw I will conceal carry, besides they don't let me out of the home often and I'm retired.🤣😉 Thank you Sir.🇺🇸✌🏻

By far the best striker fired I’ve ever shot! Got the steel frame match and have been thoroughly impressed since.

First thing I recommend doing to your PDP pro is switch that guide rod to a stainless or brass one from ZR Tactical with a 15lb spring. It’s worth every penny

I recently bought the PDP Pro-E 4.5 model for under 700 and love it. Has the flat face polymer dynamic trigger, mag well and 3-20rd mags. PDP’s are amazing and all the OEM support from Walther lets you customize the gun however you want. Able to add add a 5.1 barrel or change almost anything you want. I’d recommend changing out the sights (takes Glock sights) very easy to do and get the metal guide rod from ZR tactical makes it very smooth shooting.

This gun with long stroke guide rod and a comp has become one of my favorites at the range. Excellent shooter.

I have a P99 that I bought back in 2008 and a Q5 Match SF. Great pistols. I am eyeing the PDP SD compact.

Love mine! Two gripes though. They fitted it with a threaded barrel and included a suppressor specific recoil spring, yet couldn't be bothered to put suppressor height sights on it. The sights it ships with are useless as soon as you thread can on it. Second grievance, the optics plates that you have to order after you get the gun. Prior to my purchase, I had seen plenty of complaints from folks on reddit about it taking forever for their "free" plate to show up from walther. Because of that I chose to order one from CH precision ahead of time. I'm glad I did, because pretty much as expected the free plate took two and a half months to arrive. I wish they would just up the MSRP to $1000, fit it with nice suppressor height night sights, and include the three most commonly used optics plates with it.
@woodystube10002 ай бұрын
I share your frustration about the optics plate taking far too long to ship. Walther has extremely long processing times for just about everything these days. Not sure why that is. The sights are a different issue. The percentage of buyers who end up mounting a suppressor is relatively low. It would not make sense for Walther to spend money on suppressor height sights that the majority of their customers do not want. I get it. They can’t please every individual end-user. Optics and comps are a much more common setup with the threaded barrel version than suppressors.

Excellent in depth review! Found out about this gun through the Modern Samurai Project and high praise through gun channels on social media. Will be ordering one soon for AIWB/home defense. Already carry with an X300 so can't imagine it feeling much different.

Just got mine this week, could find it but with 10 rounds magazines only, got it discounted so out the door less than $800.00 ordered 4 full capacity magazines right away and will try selling the 10 rounders to recoup some cash. An SRO is coming as well as a competition holster and a weapon light looking for better sights for it. Will be surely fun to shoot.

You can conceal carry this comfortably depending on your size, I guess if your big enough you could conceal carry anything but I’m 6’6 235 and have zero issues carrying full size hand guns and keeping them outta site.

The trigger pull is not quite as good as the PPQ. You may want to get yours out of the safe and do a side by side. I just did and for me, and my sample of one, the PPQ is better. Some may say the PPQ is too light for duty use - but that’s another topic…
@xxPhoenixX-sg9tr5 ай бұрын
The PDP pro that has the flat dynamic trigger is better than the PPQ. Now the PPQ has better trigger then the standard pdp but not by much once you break it in. I own 4 PPQ models and there isn’t much difference other then the new dynamic trigger that’s on the PDP Pro SD
@fireyourrocketts5 ай бұрын
No, it is not, this trigger is better, but if you like the PPQ better good for you.
