Haven't even fired up H5 in a while now. Last time I did, a lot of things felt...weird. I noticed the range of which you can board vehicles changed, and the angle of approaching them is different. You can also survive a lot of vehicle explosions with wheelman on now too. A lots changed so thanks for covering some of it.

I actually like the Halo5 BR more so now than I did when it was a beast. I agree with Genesisrider that it has separated the average players from the more consistent players in terms of accuracy. The magnetism/rate of fire/long distance effectiveness has been nerfed but the skilled player can still get kills with it on a consistent basis. As for the AR I’m glad it’s been nerfed. No more randoms spraying at close range. Like you said, now a skilled player who lands all his shots can kill the AR sprayer

Well my issue is the looser bullet spread and grouping and how that negatively impacts consistency. If bullets are more spread out when shooting, that literally takes some RNG into consideration in the gunfights.

Precellence No RNG is occurring with the H5BR. It’s pure vertical recoil which is predictable and can be compensated for. Problem is the weapon’s Red-Reticle-Ranges. They removed its effective range strength which makes it fairly pointless in comparison to other precision options. The sentinel long barrel DMR is a good load out weapon on Noctus. I use it a lot and it's pretty good at getting rid of snipers, dare I say it is a sniper. You gotta be good with ya purfs though. Great video btw Prec.

Personally, at level 8, I use the Recon DMR with the Long-barrel. It still gives the long range ability, but without the larger zoom due to the recon sight. Just feels better in my hands.

I absolutely hate the pistol in H5. It makes the BR so obsolete and it overpowers every automatic loadout weapon. I agree with precision weapons winning at close quarters if you hit all the shots, but I don't think the pistol should eclipse all of the automatic guns IMO.

As a PC player, I REALLY want Halo 5 to come to MCC. I know it got a lot of hate, but I don’t care about Campaign and thr multiplayer sounds like something I’d actually enjoy a lot (my favorite Halos in order are Infinite, Reach, H2A, 4, CE, 3, 2; I don’t like the “classic Halo” very much, compared to other ones, except Reach for the armor enhancements). I also really want to try out the weapons because I love it when shooter games have lots of guns to pick from, and functional attachments.

No reason to use the Recon sight Long-Barrel or Stabilization Jets H5BRs over the H2BR at mid-game (assuming a player has the H2BR). I also don't see the point of using the Stabilization Jets DMR ever. What is it doing for the DMR?
