Love all of Wave 7 figures, but if i had to pick one that is my fav. Is probably the Ted Kord Blue Beetle, i think he came out awesome! Love the look of his classic costume in general with the contrasting blue colors he has.

Been waiting for this one! Great review. I am still patiently waiting for my preorder even though I’ve seen some in store. I may cave and start picking them up when I see them. When this Super Powers line came out in 2022, I was totally against it because they were using classic packaging with new figure designs and this year I actually talked myself into picking it up. My reasoning was because now I see it as an extension of the Kenner's Super Powers Collection. My first figure was the black and blue Nightwing and I was hooked an now I'm playing catch up, lol. Keep up the great videos I'm loving the content.

The so-called SUPERFRIENDS version of Sinestro is really the Silver Age comics version. On the SUPERFRIENDS, the black in his costume was a navy blue, not black, so we have yet to get a SUPERFRIENDS version. Sorry to nitpick... great video as usual. You guys are great!

No, that’s fair, and you’re right! Even though McFarlane labeled it as a Super Friends Sinestro, it doesn’t 100% match what was on the show. Thanks so much for watching and the kind words!

Since the black/blue one was already labeled as a Super Friends version, it may be less likely. BUT, it absolutely wouldn’t surprise me lol

@@JustBSingProductions Yeah, theres two. When I asked one of the locations if they carry Super Powers figures, the employee had no idea what I was talking about. The second store thats a lil further away carries them sporadically.

@@maximusprime3459 Yeah, it seems most are pretty sporadic. Both GameStops I went to didn't have any a few days before, and then I checked again, and BOOM. Interesting that the one didn't know what you were talking about. I wonder if they are coded something different and the person working there just isn't familiar with the branding.

@@JustBSingProductions Well, the way the second store explained it was they were sent some random Super Powers items and they got sold, so they eventually just sent more to fill shelf space as they sold. It was really weird.

I like the new Sinestro paint... I had thought the original suit was more "Super Powers", but then thinking about the metallic Brainiac from the Kenner figures... i've changed my mind. For the other figures... I love Brainiac and Blue Beetle... Kilowog too is superb, but it irritates me that they used a different green for Hal and Kilowog to John Stewart, which is a better shade of green to me!

Yeah, a strange decision to switch up shades of green. I’m guessing there will be a repaint at some point of John Stewart since the Guy Gardner had the same shade as the newer Lanterns.

100% best wave so far. I skipped the Mangá Batman, but maybe now I get it, looks cool. And for those who did not saw the figures in jands, the golden in Superman and Sinestro do not show well in camera, those are VERY beautiful. I just disliked how Bariniac's head is a big bigger than it should, but that is it, other than that, So Good for all, even the repaints.

Yeah, I couldn’t get that gold to show up true to life in any of my cameras! Lol. You’re 100% right. I don’t mind a Brainiac with a bigger head. Makes sense. You know…cuz he’s Brainiac. 😂

@@JustBSingProductions yeah, he had a big head sometimes, bit maybe was the Legion version. He just look like the Leader, an enemy of Hulk stories, that way. Also green, of course, LOL.

I don’t really see that much of a difference between the wave 1 and wave 5 heads for Superman. I think it might look different because waves 5 onwards have more crisp clean paint on the face but I’m not quite sure.

It looks like a very small difference to me. Wave 5 and up has ever so slightly more detail, especially around the mouth and ears. It very well could just be better paint application, but it does feel like there were some slight tweaks to give him more lines and detail in the face. Either way, I’m ready for an all new sculpt! 😂

I felt like the wave 7 Brainiac looked too friendly, doesn't have villian aura. My opinion the gold label Brainiac is the way to go.

Yeah, found both at the same GameStop, along with the Manga Batman. Another GameStop had Brainiac, Beetle, and Kilowog. The Walmarts we went to had none of the figures (just vehicles), but others are finding everything there. Just gotta hit up multiple stores.

Just going through the series so far - and have to say that for me the Brainiac figure in this series is the most Super Powers figure of the series to date... It's the one figure, for me, that you could add to the original series and you would think it belonged!
