Have tried watching other Hawaii vlogs and nothing matches the laughs, friendships and excitement like your channel. Hope to return to Makaha valley for the winter again and check out Ry’s store and maybe meet you guys at a harbour. Canada says Aloha!

Do mahi in your area not bite chunks or trolled bait strips?
@RAHfishing Жыл бұрын
They were spoiled already and would only eat the live bait. Got a couple on dead but it was hard and only the first couple. 🤙

Have you ever tried long lead line? Like 6ft long? So no spook opelu. And when you bring into boat put your pole on opposite side with lead still in water. Makes for clothesline of opelu and easy to take off. No lead hitting side of boat too.
@RAHfishing Жыл бұрын
Never tried. I think it would be a lot more difficult try to step over the fish ikima. 🤙

Awesome catch capt. Nick and crew. Why does Henry go on vacation when the actions are hot and the catch is great. Hopefully, when he gets back and his first trip, 1 ahi over 100 pounds and 4 close to 100 lbs. That would be a good haul. 🤙💪😊
@Ninjahenry808 Жыл бұрын
🤣😂🤣 right?!! Hope you watch the coming episodes. The next few weeks are loaded with action where we take 50-100 strikes per trip!

Bringing back good memories! Definitely Not a bad haul! Best I saw was working as a deckhand on a charter boat in 2005 and between 4 rods and 1.5hrs 127 were landed! Most were smaller but a few large bulls were caught too

Here when we hook a Mahi we leave it in the water then throw out more lines. Since they run in schools it’s better to leave the one that hooked in the water because it’s attracts all the others one to it.
