best way to fix a 2/3 flair on a 4l60e/4l65e for free!!!!!

I had a mass air flow sensor code on my 99 2wd 1500 and swapped it. Lately I've had a pretty aggressive 2/3 thump and it's been concerning me. Never knew this could be a related cause

@@brettmyers7054 yes and also the massair flow controls the line pressure I. The transmission your lucky it's a 99 the 97s and down had a problem we're you had to add a ground to the PCM . But yes I'll be doing more videos about the 4l60e because everyone around me brings them to me

Hey man grasping at a straw here, I got a 93 4l60e and changed the harness inside for a newer harness with the pwm solenoid and 13 pin connector. Truck runs greats but trans only stays in 3rd gear. When I put it in manual 1&2 she only goes to 2. Any ideas? My trans is out and the valve body is in the bench. Tia

@@thomasblais7751 never swapped to a newer style harness before. But need to check the shift soloenrds and valves make sure they are free and also take your servo out and make sure the neflo sealing ring dent brake will make same problem

Got a 4l60e in a 95’ c1500 5.7 tbi was shifting fine until we noticed a leak on the dip stick tube shaft replaced seal and some rubber off the seal Ended up in the pan. Well before I realized this truck started slipping in 2-3 dropped pan and got the rubber out and cleaned pan new filter and gasket and still the same any thoughts as to what I should do fluid was black that came out didn’t smell burnt though

4l60e are bad for the 2/3 shift valve in valvebody to hangup /not work also know for the pressure manifold switch to make problems. If anything it's in the filter it can make problems. But try to manual shift it threw all the gears and see what it does if it's slipping rpms flying up and not moving then id pay you have a internal problem I have videos to show you how to build that transmissions flawless

Bro get a 4l60e core and do a series on TEARDOWN INSPECTION explaining the parts, where they go bad, how to spot wear and tear etc.

Just got a 2003 avalanche with a 2/3 flare when warm . It shifts fine When its cold. i baby it im afraid to punch it in fear of blowing the trans. The Po did not take care of this truck im gonna try the 10 min adjustment and hopefully it fixes it. Thank you for this and i just subbed.
