I am glad you showed me, I just purchased one of these with tracks and the main shocks are hanging up. The vehicle was only run a few times. I will save this video

I like the idea of doing this compaired to other methods. The idea of just backing off the pressure on the cap doesn't guarantee the shock will not stick. Using lock tight on the threads and then guessing what pressure works makes no sense to me. Installing an O- ring instead of messing with the tension seems to make better sense.

They are Tamiya SP-597 o-rings, you can get them from eBay or most online Rc model shops👍

Hate Traxxas because they do not honour there warranty these shock perform very well however
