What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for KZbin, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! Buildings unlock when you upgrade the other buildings. You need to upgrade all the resource buildings and the workshop, then you can build a storage building which can centralise materialise if you assign a worker to it. Once you build the storage you can build small containers inside to sort all the collected materials. The assigned worker will sort them out. You can put extra food and wood storage for example. Things last longer at the storage house too, they decay slower. Houses can hold 2 people but they get happier because they sleep in a bed and they can get a fire in the house, which will prove useful for the winter.

I love when the rabbits come around. Free food. I pick them up, drop them, smack them, repeat. If you crouch, they come right to you to grab them. Practically.

I’ve been playing the game without any villagers and I’ve got so many resources, I’ll never run out lol Once I carve out a small plateau, the raids and invasion can’t never get to me and I just pick them off from the edge of the earth wall.

Those are decent size fish theyre catching. Maybe a ratio of 3 bait per harvested fish would be better? Otherwise you end up using most of your fish for bait instead of for feeding your villagers. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Just a thought.

The Lightning buff you get from sleeping is super helpful. the basic shelter gives you the shortest duration when you sleep there. the cottage gives you a medium duration. and the Chief House gives you the longest duration. also in your chief hut and cottage, you can add furniture (more beds, firewood storage etc.) warehouses are variable, as you build the various storage types yourself, to cater to your needs.

8:08 - you can also put one in the tool rack at the blacksmith/crafting station thingy, or simply drop one on the floor and I'm pretty sure if anyone needs it, they'll pick it up

how do you raise terrrain?

Use the hoe and place the starting (high) point on a part of terrain you want add the “reference” height. Left click and hold, then you’ll need drag it to where you want to raise the terrain or close to it. When you let go of the mouse button, you can use Q and E keys to rotate the building line. When you click to confirm, the terrain will be raised up to same height as the reference spot. Repeat the process, but you’ll use the top of your newly raised point as your starting point.

hmm, yeah shame the demo is over. but hey you got some good practice in :P. on my last run through Is aid sod it, and only built 1 shelter too start with, I did build the hand cart and go fill myself and the cart up with Yotun Blood, then I recruited 1 villager after another as soon as a new one was available. Had 10 villagers on day 3, and my first 6 man cottage on day 4

Another thing is wood fire, you can make it from stumps. They use it for cooking fire and heating the houses.

I agree. i stopped playing because its to demanding. I had the gathering hut with TWO villagers going out to to three markers. I have 6 villagers and myself and they could not keep up with food. I made the cooking hut assigned a villagers and he does nothing either. I did build the hunters hut but never assigned anyone to it and just gave up on the game. Almost in winter and hardly any food gathered. This game needs some work so we dont have to constantly micro manage and food shortages. Great concept but need a bit of work to be enjoyable.
