Loved the beat, Ryan. I agree: Sometimes less is more. My only complaint: I wished you made more videos. Your tutorials are explained so well and are inspiring. Happy New Year..Blessings!

Well done. I often get carried away but when I think about it, there's no rules to this. Create what feels good, what you can vibe with and have fun. I dig the simplicity of it because it allows me to connect and vibe with my music. Peace!!

Great work Ryan. 💯 I like how you’re exploring the depth of drum breaks and drum patterns. I think the last video i mentioned toms and snare rolls. They’re are great for introductions and transitions. Keep up the good work!!

Awesome insights, thank you! So glad I found your channel after picking up an MPC. I noticed you were playing the drum break in with odd/even column pads to match the tempo. Did you chop it up in the same way you had in the Whitney Houston video where you broke down keeping things on the beat/columns?

when you make a beat from a sample you found on tracklib, to be used in a youtube video, do you have to pay Tracklib the 50 bucks to clear the sample?
@jayfarrell97232 жыл бұрын
Cool, thanks Ryan. Just downloaded that bass sample pack. nice stuff. Sometimes as newbie (which I am) you can get super overwhelmed with finding sounds. It almost kills your creative juice. much appreciated. Didn't see this on your channel but have you used Maschine Mk3 or MPC live 2. I have the Mk3
