Hey man. I got your full course. And I must say it was better than I expected. I have some suggestions on how you could change the introduction on making anki cards a bit better though. But all and all you provided me with a system that seems more efficient than what I had before. Thank you!

Hi Jenny - I'm traveling right now and can't film a regular video at my desk for a few weeks, but my course in the description of this video teaches you how to take notes in Notion for note-taking in detail if you need help quickly. I'll try to make a video once I can

Hey mate. This looks great. Could you, please, advise regarding revision itself? I mean, what do you mean in revision? Going through reading material? Going through LOS? Analyzing formulas? Jumping straight to practice questions? This would be really great to hear, because time spent for revision should also be allocated efficiently. Thanks a lot. Keep it up man! You doing great job for all!
@bhill-biznessprofessionals

Hey Nikoloz - Thanks for the positive feedback. When I revise, I'll start by working on practice questions and practicing flashcards. These exercises will test my knowledge and it's the quickest to find out what you don't know and what you should practice. Once you identify gaps in your knowledge, then you can go through the material, review LOS's, and analyze formulas. After you do that, you would test yourself again with practice questions and flashcards. You repeat this process for all lessons within the CFA curriculum until you master them all. The spreadsheet shared in this video helps facilitate your revision schedule and keeps you on track. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot once again! For your detailed answer. I'm exactly 6 months out of my exam(LVL 1) and plan to start my studies now, using your spreadsheet. Do you think I have enough time to crack it? Also leaving sufficient time for final revision and practice/mocks?

Hey! Thank you for this content! Iam about to get your course, but I have one question. How do you measure your your difficulty/performance level rated from 1 to 10?
@bhill-biznessprofessionals
@bhill-biznessprofessionals 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Oleksandr - It's really just a rating based on how you felt while studying an individual module. Base your rating on 1) how many of the concepts you understood in a module 2) how thoroughly/deeply you understood each concept and 3) your performance when working on practice problems.

Hello Brandon! Thanks for your spreadsheet! While preparing to CFA 1lvl I faced situation when the spreadsheet shows too much overlapping lessons on same day and I just cant choose what to study also it means I should move some lessons next days because just dont have enought time to revise all. What would you advise in this situation relating to usage of spreadsheet? Thank you!
@bhill-biznessprofessionals
@bhill-biznessprofessionals Жыл бұрын
Hey! This definitely can happen. Sometimes, the timing works out where you will have a ton of lessons to study on one day and a few to study the next day. When this happens, I'd adjust the date you first studied that lesson. This is the first column that should be shaded yellow. Simply move the date forward by 1 day, 2 days, or whatever you choose. This will move all dates forward a day or two and will alleviate the number of lessons you have to study on the current date. Let me know if that makes sense. If not, email me at brandon@biznessprofessionals.com and I can try to explain through screenshot visuals. Hope this helps! Repeat this with several lessons until you have reduced the number of lessons you need to study to something more reasonable for you.
