Great video!! I like the part where you turned off the middle heights. Realizing a gap exists is why we created the SACT and this section in particular. I'm always afraid to play it on a new system...I usually end up realizing I need more speakers, LOL!

Thank you! I also called you a celebrity lol. Yes, that is a great test. I almost didn’t do it because I had no idea how it would play out. But did it impromptu and it worked out perfectly. Thanks for all your efforts on producing such a great product!

My first time watching your video, love your set-up and your passion for home theater. I have a pretty good set-up myself (not as good as yours) but it is my passion. I've been wanting to get teckno dad's spacial audio disk, but didn't have the money, but with your discount I went ahead and did it. I subscribed now and am looking forward to more of your vidios. Thank you, Domenic

Thank you for the nice comment. It’s all about the passion. What system do you have?

Sorry about that I'm not very good at texting. But for my height speakers I have fronts and middles, my room is kinda short so it didn't make sense to have rears. But hopefully when I get the spacial audio calibration video I'll be able to tell if my speaker placement is correct.
@magnoliamo8 ай бұрын
No worries. I think you are better off with front heights and side height configuration instead of top middle. The Spatial Audio calibration toolkit will definitely help with the setup and configurations.

Got about 20 speakers in room, not normal size living room, its setup like pics

Did you turned off the middle height (or disconnected) or you put on your AVR an 7.1.4 configuration?
@magnoliamo8 ай бұрын
I removed the top middles from the speaker configuration. Essentially changed the processor to 7.2.4 from 7.2.6.
@magnoliamo8 ай бұрын
If I simply turn them off or disconnect them that’s the wrong of performing the test. To compare 7.2.6 to 7.2.4 you have to change the change the configuration. You can go into the speaker configuration section and change to 4 heights or go into speaker configuration and remove the top middle. That way the processor retains the eq settings.

@@magnoliamo exactly 💯. Now that gap really matters!. I used to think that the avr's would mitigate these gaps due to audio objects being process to fit our own configuration, but it seems not, ergo I need more speakers! Damn..

Hi Sir I’m thinking off B&W 703, 603 or CT7.3 for my HT. Which one you suggest? I do have Anthem Amp and processors
@magnoliamo6 ай бұрын
If for only movies then CT7.3. If for movies and music then definitely 703.

This shows sounds it's subjective 3 persons heard things differently not once did they all pointed in the same direction where sound should have been
@magnoliamo8 ай бұрын
True. The ones sitting on the sides would hear differently than the one sitting in the sweet spot because speakers closest to them would be louder than the ones farther away. Do you agree?
