I use a drop of Dawn into a tupperware container that holds close to half of a gallon of water. I fill it up about 75-80% with warm water and will let my lures soak for 15 minutes. After that I rinse them off in tap water and let them dry. Of course I'm not on saltwater as much as most people following this channel but it seems to do a good job at preventing corrosion from getting my lures.

…Coupled with some warm water. I’ve actually been alternating between Krud Kutter, a degreaser found at Lowe’s Home Improvement. I have also been spraying carb or brake cleaner in a moist rag-has worked perfectly on my hard plastics that have heavy build up. I always soak / rinse in warm water immediately after for a few minutes. I am concerned about the same though. That is actually why that’s how I found this video of yours (easy…Ima SUBSCRIBER too-🤙🏾lol). I’ve actually gone back and washed/rinsed with warm soapy water afterwards, but I can still barely smell - a faint linger almost nostalgic - Working on breaks with my pops. Was thinking I was gonna give them a little spray or rub down with some Pro-Cure or some menhaden/bunker oil… Rub/massage that into em-They are ready to go to the beach, But they have work to do!🦄🐳🐖🍀🐊🐂… hopefully clock a few in … sooner than later. On another note-Channel is super rad filled with what I feel is solid, informative and enjoyable content (unlike 90% of the others out there). Stoked for you-Hopefully you’re finding more time getting bent than some of us. The struggle is real. Is it me what does it seem like they’re a lot more lazy, entitled assholes in the world today? Seems only right to practice some social distancing it wet carrier filled with a bunch of yellow mouth Sally’s! Sorry to ramble. Stay bent/tight🤙🏾

Dryer Sheets work well on rubber, plastic, glass and cotton type material to clean! Gunk removal, cheap SHAMPOO from any dollar store works wonders for getting rid of grime, stubborn issues and just a great DEGREASER type clean. I found this when I used to wrench on diesel equipment and used all sorts of cleaners and NOTHING would get me clean and get rid of the smell, SHAMPOO did it!

Nothing like it! A little brake/carb cleaner sprayed in a moist rag will get any/all else!

Hey cap...what do you do when you keep finding ladyfish under dirds or in slicks
@saltwaterspirit10673 жыл бұрын
do the wipes leave a residue that would cause the fish to stay away???
@CaptCalebTV3 жыл бұрын
Highly doubt it. It is oozing petroleum based gunk as it is.
